About

Record your surf sessions on Apple Watch and relive your rides on iPhone. Surf Tracking brings your wave count, GPS route, speed, distance, and workout stats together in one surf logbook. TRACK FROM YOUR WRIST Automatically detect waves while recording your session. Check your wave count, speed, distance, elapsed time, and heart rate at a glance. Hold the recording button or turn the Digital Crown to confirm starting and stopping, helping prevent accidental taps. RELIVE YOUR RIDES Sync sessions to iPhone and explore your route on the map. View individual waves, ride duration, distance, and speed. Look back at your longest rides and keep a history of your time in the water. REVIEW YOUR WAVES Review detected rides after your session. Exclude false detections and restore rides to your statistics whenever you want. For sessions without detected waves, analyze the recorded GPS route to find potential rides. GPS-based estimates are clearly marked. CONNECT WITH APPLE HEALTH Save surfing workouts to Apple Health. View heart rate and active calories when available, alongside your surf session statistics. EXPORT YOUR GPS ROUTES Export sessions as GPX files to save your tracks or open them in compatible mapping and analysis apps. QUICK ACCESS ON APPLE WATCH Use widgets and watch face complications to open the app and glance at session information. Choose metric or imperial units for your stats. Record on Apple Watch. Review on iPhone. Keep your surf sessions together.

What's New in One More Wave

1.1

November 2, 2026

Recovery - New Recovery section on the Dashboard: Readiness, Training load, Sleep, and HRV with Resting heart rate, each with its own detail screen. - Readiness compares last night with your own normal from Apple Health. It needs about two weeks of nights to learn it. Waves - Slow longboard rides are no longer cut short after a GPS jump. - Wave detection is simpler: the acceleration setting is gone, and Slower waves now changes only the minimum speed. App - New Apple Watch app icon. - What's New is now in Settings, open About, and the app tells you when an important update is available.
