About

For the days you don't want to end having only scrolled. Each day, One New Thing lays out three things worth reading or watching, drawn from a hand-curated catalog that runs from cosmology to film to mathematics. You choose one. The other two don't wait for you. A new set arrives tomorrow. Then you write, as much or as little as you like, in your own words, on what you made of it. Pasting is turned off, on purpose: an entry you pasted would tell you nothing when you read it back in December. Over a year, those entries become a record of what you actually learned. • Three hand-picked options a day, shaped by the topics you keep and the ones you set aside • A private Journal you can search, filter, and reread, with earlier versions of each entry kept • Suggest a piece you loved; if it's accepted, it joins the catalogue • Face ID lock, so your Journal stays yours No feed to scroll. No notifications calling you back. Your reflections are private to your account.

• One sign-in page: continue with Apple, Google or email. • Two short films show how a night works and how to contribute. • Write as much or as little as you like. No minimum length and no timer; a blank entry won't save. • New engraved drawings for the disciplines. • Fixes, including signing up with Google inside the app.
