App constantly crashes when classes open for bookings. Logs you out last minute and is just painful
Needs significant changes
The app has significant issues as stated already in numerous reviews. It would be helpful if they staggered class booking times across gyms to avoid lagging, add a waitlist, and show how many spots are available in classes. A 10 hour cancellation period is much too long with many “full” classes being half empty on arrival. Would be helpful to reduce this window to 2 hours or so to give others a chance to come to classes.

Worst booking platform
I would give this minus stars if I could. Not one single time does it load properly when I go to book in a class. Don’t even bother when the booking window opens at 12pm. The app freezes, crashes and has errors. THE WORST.

Add to calendar button used to work but it’s been broken for ages. Pls fix!

I love going to One Playground but honestly this app makes me want to cancel my membership. So annoying that you can’t join a waitlist and it would be fine for the classes to open only 3 days before if the app actually worked properly when they open the bookings. For over a week now I’ve been trying to book specific classes at 12pm on the dot and the app starts lagging so I can only get in around 12:05pm, and my classes are always fully booked by that point.

Absolutely hopeless
For a ‘premium’ gym experience, this app couldn’t get any worse. It crashes every day when classes become available to book at noon. The result, often missing out. Not sure why we pay such a high price for the gym if we can even book the classes.
I would suggest:
- staggering class release times
- allow for a waitlist function
- less fluff and more real talk in class descriptions

Need a waitlist
The app freezes at 12pm as that’s when class bookings open - the class then gets full and there is no waitlist option. Please add a waitlist option like other apps have as people cancel closer to the time. It also allows people to book more than one class at a time which means people book out the classes

Missing basic functions
Echoing the need for a waitlist & class space availability but also super basic stuff like why is the only filtering for staff names?! Extremely unhelpful, esp with 100s of names across the gyms and no doubt no longer employed people. I want to filter on class types, availability etc, not instructors. App crashes out at 12 when spots are released too.

The filters definitely need a vast improvement. Why can’t I filter by class? I want to know how many Reformer or PULSE classes are available in the week, and their start times. Seems to be the most obvious choice. But you’re able to filter by every trainer across all One Playground gyms, which is just weird.

App crashes at booking window
App doesn’t work properly when trying to book a class at 12pm - assuming due to the volume of users trying to book at the same time
Laggy and crashes
Genuinely the most laggy and frustrating app. I understand it mostly gets flooded with users when classes open (12pm) which causes it to crash but surely there’s a better way to organise it all. I feel like it would be easier if each location had their own time for class bookings to open so that the app doesn’t get bombarded with hundreds of people at one time and works more efficiently. I also agree that there should be a waitlist for classes.

Would rate a 0 if I could
Everyone has to login at noon to book a class 3 days in advance and most of the time, the app crashes out or classes don’t load. I spend 10 mins a day trying to book a class
Too basic
The app does not add the appointments to calendar though asks for the full access, nor does it allow to click-add event to calendar and you can’t even copy Appointment details to create event hardcore. This is basic functionality you’d expect from an app meant to manage training schedules.

1. Classes are released 3 days before at 12pm, the app frequently doesn’t work because everyone is on it at the same time. If you try to go on just 15mins later, most of the classes are booked out.
2. No waitlists. No indication of how many spots are taken/available.
3. Overall, the app just doesn’t work all of time. It doesn’t load, it crashes, it states there are no classes that week when there are. Refreshing the app doesn’t help. For a luxury gym, they should spend more money on fixing their app which is the only way to book classes.

Useless app
This might be one of the worst apps of all time. It’s absolutely impossible to book high demand classes due to the app crashing and freezing constantly. Whoever developed this app wasted their time (and mine).
Keeps crashing
Slow, crashes, runs into bugs every 2 seconds. One second I get to see the classes but crashes when I try book, and the later minute displays that there are no classes going on at ALL 4 locations. Tells me that I don’t have internet, which is untrue because I’m on 5G and is working fine with other apps.
