One Wish Willow: A Ritual

One Wish Willow 2.0 is our biggest update yet. Your wish no longer has to stay with you alone. You can now exchange wishes and voice messages with someone important, choose an opening time together, and keep what each of you receives locked until that day arrives. New in 2.0.3: • Wish Vault now shows how long each wish has been kept in both the list and detail view. After iCloud sync, the elapsed time continues from the original saved date. • Added subtle haptic confirmation when a long press on the music record is recognized, making it clear that the change-music action has been triggered. • Long-press the spinning record to extract audio from a video in Photos or import an audio file from Files. Imported music stays on this device and replaces only the looping background music; opening, breaking, and other ritual sound effects are unchanged. • Added full-screen meteors across the ritual scene. After you break the willow and complete the wish, the scene shifts to soft multicolored meteors, which also continue into Wish Vault. • If you’re not signed in to iCloud, your iCloud storage is full, or iCloud is temporarily unavailable, you can still choose Save Only on This iPhone for a wish you want to keep. When iCloud becomes available again, the app automatically tries to sync at launch, when returning to the foreground, or when Wish Vault is opened. You can also choose Sync Again in Wish Vault. 2.0 highlights: • A new two-person mode for exchanging written wishes, recordings, or both • When you are together, bring the phones close only when the app prompts you • Use iCloud remote exchange even when you are in different cities or countries • Choose the same opening time and break the willow on each phone; what you receive stays locked until the agreed moment • Solo wishes stay on your device; only wishes you choose enter your private iCloud Wish Vault, up to 10 • Improved guidance for iCloud remote and cross-country exchange, making connection and synchronized breaking clearer and smoother • Clarified the box-opening prompt so it is clear to swipe up from the prompt to open the willow One person’s wish can be kept by time. Two people’s unspoken words can reach each other again on the day they chose. Full access remains a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
