PHOTO STUDIO Make something worth posting. Pick a photo, drop it into a template built by the band, and it comes back with your name, your city and the night on it. Find it on your profile — and at the show, right in Show Mode. Your photo never leaves your phone. The whole thing is put together on the device; nothing is uploaded unless you choose to share it. AT THE SHOW Show Mode is rebuilt. Check in when you arrive and your phone joins the room: a light show that moves with the live music, the night's photos, and the thread for everyone in the building. It wakes up when you get to the venue — so you'll see it on show night, not before. LOOKING OUT FOR YOUNGER FANS Apps are starting to be asked to check roughly how old the people using them are. Apple's tool for that only exists on the newest version of iOS, so plenty of apps will check there and leave everyone on an older iPhone unchecked. We didn't want that gap, so OneRepublic now asks on every device it runs on. You'll see it once, and it's separate from the birthday you can add to your profile. The date you enter here isn't saved or sent anywhere. Only a general age range is. ALSO IN THIS ONE Video in the feed now plays with sound, even with your ringer switched off. You can now change your birthday and your email preferences in Settings. Fixed a video in the feed swallowing taps meant for the like and comment buttons underneath it. Fixed a banner that wouldn't dismiss. Fixed a crash when opening the Light Show. Fixed a rare crash when opening the app. Videos posted by the band now start playing faster.
