About

OneVoice is a private, offline-first voice recorder that turns every recording into searchable text. RECORD WITHOUT INTERRUPTION Start a voice note, switch apps, or lock your screen. OneVoice keeps recording until you choose Finish or Cancel. Completed recordings are saved as compressed audio and checked for real duration and playback before they enter your library. AUTOMATIC ON-DEVICE TRANSCRIPTION Apple's on-device Speech framework creates a live transcript and a final searchable result. No OneVoice server receives your audio. If transcription is temporarily unavailable, your recording is still preserved. FIND AND USE WHAT YOU SAID • Search recording titles and full transcripts • Play, favorite, copy, share, or delete any voice note • Add personal dictionary replacements for names and specialist terms • Import an audio or video file for private on-device transcription; imported media is not retained by OneVoice PRIVATE ICLOUD LIBRARY Voice-note audio, transcripts, and dictionary replacements sync through your private Apple iCloud database by default, so the OneVoice Mac app can play and search the same recordings. Imported media, quick-dictation audio, and downloaded model files never sync. OPTIONAL ACCURATE FINAL PASS You can explicitly download the Qwen3-ASR 0.6B model for a more accurate offline final transcript. The model runs locally and is never bundled or downloaded without your action. ONEVOICE ON MAC Download the companion Mac app from our website for searchable synced recordings and private global dictation using Fn hold-to-talk or Right Command tap-to-toggle. Secure fields are never filled automatically. PRIVACY BY DESIGN • No OneVoice account • No analytics SDK • No advertising SDK • No OneVoice-operated audio server • Open-source under Apache 2.0 Requires iOS 26 or newer. Background recording begins only after you tap the microphone and remains visibly active.

What's New in OneVoice

1.2.0

July 18, 2026

Your recordings are now easier to replay, search, and reuse. Open any voice note to see a real audio waveform, scrub to the moment you need, jump 15 seconds, and choose 0.5×–2× playback speed. IMPROVED • A unified recordings library makes titles and transcripts searchable from one place. • Recording details now keep playback controls, timestamps, favorites, sharing, and transcripts together. • The personal dictionary and settings use the same calm One Apps layout. • Chinese interface copy is complete across the library, player, dictionary, and settings. • iPhone and Mac keep the same private, local-first library with optional iCloud sync. FIXED • Existing OneVoice libraries continue to open without migration or data loss. • Recording titles and fallback text now follow the selected app language.
