Never stayed connected
This app never stays connected to my light. When I do get connected, after delete if and reinstalling, I can’t set the timer. It stays on 00:00. Very frustrating when the light is designed so well and the app is so badly designed.
Broken
Sometimes , in the middle of the night , the light turns on. Algea issues included. Fix it !
Lousy app for such an expensive device
The control app is very basic. Used with a $400 light, the sunrise/sunset function has a fixed 11hr period, doesn’t allow any customisation of the intensity for that mode, or any other fading functionality outside it.
There are no new app releases with improvements for the first Flat One model. It’s basically been abandoned by the manufacturer, unacceptable for such an expensive device.
The first model of this lamp also resets to full power 24hr lighting after a power cut, the app settings are wiped on the lamp, so you’d better be home if it happens!

Outdated and limited
While the light is beautiful and great at growing plants, the app is terrible. It has extremely limited options and hasn’t been updated in over 2 years.
Bugs and lacks features. Why can’t it be like the ONF link app?
Jumpy auto brightness. Sometimes it goes darker and suddenly very bright again! It says AM/PM but I use 24 hour format. I think it has to do with that
Disappointing
The app is totally cheap for such a high-quality lamp. Hardly any setting options. No manual start and soft end possible in manual mode. Other manufacturers can do that better. Hope to update the app, so the lamp is not recommended!
Bad app
I need more things to remote the lamp.
A soft start and end in Manuel modus isn’t possible.
In Natur Modus I can only take start but no end.. Allways 11h .. that’s bad.
Look at Chihiros app ..there’s more innovation!!!

No options to adjust max brightness for sunrise/sunset
This app could be more useful allowing users to create manual sunrise/sunset with different brightness settings that is similar to the ONF Link app. The latest ONF FLat Nano+ operates on the ONF Link app and makes much more sense than this remote app. Why can’t I also add my Flat One in the Link app but this one instead. It is very confusing and not very intuitive at all.

Timer stopped working
It was working fine. Then the timer just stopped working, it simply would not respond. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it, it refuses to turn off at the stated end. Your app should be able to understand 24 hour time, I do not think it does.
Remote Needs Detailed Instructions
The functions work but a small booklet for simple things like how to turn on the timer would have been helpful. I thought it was on until it did not turn off at the set time. It is a little confusing coming from the Fluval App.
