What's New in This Version This update adds new safety features, a first-run introduction, and fixes several reliability issues found in testing. FEATURES • Voicemail scam detection — Voicemails are now screened the same way as live calls, using the same AI analysis. • Learn Why We Flagged This — A new detail screen explains, in plain language, exactly why a call or voicemail was flagged as a likely scam. • Trusted Contact notifications — Users can add trusted contacts who are notified by SMS when a scam is detected. • Welcome carousel — A new full-screen visual introduction at the very start of onboarding, before account setup begins, so users understand the app's purpose immediately on first launch. • Help tab — A new tab with in-app answers to common questions, replacing the previous lack of any in-app help. • Missed call notifications — Missed calls now trigger a badge on the app icon and a native-style notification banner, matching the behavior of the standard Phone app. • Call preference toggle — Users can now disable the default speakerphone-on-connect behavior in Settings. • Scam alert banner redesign — Visual and layout improvements to the in-call scam warning screen. BUG FIXES • Fixed an issue where restarting the iPhone could Before First Unlock (BFU) reset an existing user's account back into the setup flow and could result in loss of locally stored voicemails and call history. • Fixed an issue where in-call keypad DTMF tones (e.g., entering a code to open a building door or access a voicemail system) were not being transmitted by CallKit. • Fixed a call waiting issue where a second incoming call, while already on a call, was not handled correctly. Incoming calls now correctly present native "End & Accept" and "Decline" options. • Fixed an issue where muting or unmuting a call from the iPhone's native call screen did not correctly reflect in the app's call interface. • Fixed an issue where speakerphone required two taps to activate at the start of a call. • Fixed a phone number formatting issue that affected some contacts entered in an international format. • Account deletion now includes a required step to disable call forwarding before the account is removed, preventing calls from continuing to be forwarded to a deleted account.
