Suchfunktion funktioniert nicht
Bei der Suche mit der Lupe sieht man zunächst den Namen des gesuchten Autors, aber wenn man drauf klickt, kommt eine Liste von Büchern, die mit dem gesuchten Namen überhaupt nichts zu tun haben… Das war früher nicht so. Wirklich schade; ich kann doch nicht den ganzen Katalog von oben bis unten durchlesen!

Not user friendly
Compared to Libby this app is slow, not user friendly, not intuitive and often doesn’t work
Gutes Angebot, Handhabung unnötig schwierig
Die Ausleihe digitaler Medien ist ein prima Angebot; vielen Dank dafür! Nutzung könnte bitte noch vereinfacht werden Das beginnt mit der unfassbar umständlichen Anmeldung auf dem Smartphone bei jeder einzelnen Sitzung. Ebenso nervig ist, dass Medien auf dem Smartphone erst hochgeladen werden müssen, bevor man sie zurückgeben kann. Wozu soll das denn gut sein? Da die Tolino-Geräte nahezu unbrauchbar sind für das Surfen im Internet, nutze ich das Onleihe-Angebot, indem ich zuerst im Smartphone recherchiere und ausleihe. Anschließend gehe ich mit dem Tolino online und lade die schon ausgeliehenen Titel auf den Reader.
Falls ich sie vor Leihfristende ausgelesen habe, müsste ich sie zunächst im Smartphone downloaden, nur um sie zurückgeben zu können. Mache ich natürlich nicht. Das heißt in der Restzeit kann auch niemand anderes den Titel ausleihen. Bitte ändert das!

Wenn man Namen von AutorInnen eingibt, kommen Titel von allen möglichen und unmöglichen AutorInnen, wo dort der gesuchte Name versteckt sein soll, bleibt ein Geheimnis. Tried turning it off and on again?
I use this app 90% to listen to audiobooks. Sometimes the app will freeze as soon as you try to get go the player. „failed to open stream“ with several titles, downloaded or not, can’t really follow the instructions from the website. Restarting the app, logging outredownloading the app and restarting my phone several times worked (maybe it was just time). Hope my library will move to Onleihe 3.0 soon.

The app get bugged
Can‘t get it to work
Downloaded this app to read newspapers, but I cannot get it to work. All it does is load a blank page with a search bar that doesn’t find anything, whatever menu I click.
Nicht zuverlässig
Leider bricht diese App immer wieder mal ab. Ich höre Bücher auf meinem Telefon damit. Mindestens einmal die Woche werde ich mittendrin rausgeschmissen. Grundlos auch bei gutem WiFi. Dann komme ich manchmal erst am nächsten Tag wieder rein. Ausserdem verliere ich häufig das Chapter und es fängt dann ganz von vorne an. All diese Probleme habe ich mit Audible nie.
Probiere dann alles mögliche auch neu installieren, trotzdem klappt es manchmal nicht. Schade, wenn es funktioniert ist es eine gute Möglichkeit für Hörbücher. Allerdings nur dann.

Sehr gut aber…
Ich liebe diese App! Ich benutze sie jetzt schon mehr als zwei Jahre und bin sehr zufrieden doch seit gestern steht bei mir das ich keine Internet Verbindung habe obwohl ich diese habe (3-4 Balken bei einem IPhone) ich habe mein Telefon mehrfach neu gestartet und sogar die App gelöscht und den Ruter neu angesteckt aber es wird nicht besser und jetzt komme ich deswegen nicht einmal mehr in meinen Account rein, da ich die App ja gelöscht hatte.
Ich bitte jetzt darum das dieses Problem bitte behoben wird, da es sicher nicht an mir liegt!

This App it’s a completely disaster at least in my IPad. It never works, I couldn’t even log in. I only can read in my computer without any app.

time-stealing, hopeless
I have spent too much time trying to make this app work in order to read books from the Goethe Institute‘s library. I certainly hope that Goethe is not paying any money for this app! Goethe offers a wonderful library that got me excited to read more German-language books. But the Onleih app oonly allows me to read a few chapters of each book before it will no longer load a page. The pages remain gray and never quite load. The option of using the website also does not work for more than a half-day. And it looks impossible to actually reach a human who might help. (The audiobooks by contrast have worked fine for me. So they are maybe the one reason to keep the app.)

Inaccessible
Tried to log in with my Goethe-Institut account but every time I click log in it automatically takes me to the library, not to a log in page.
Borrowed media isn’t downloading for reading.
After borrowing media is being not downloaded. App suddenly crashes after clicking the download this media option.
Onleihe not functional
This app is unusable.
Downloads rarely get beyond halfway stage
They say you can borrow a book for up to 14 days but it could easily take that long to download! I’ve tried reinstalling the app multiple times and using it at off-peak hours, but nothing helps. To make matters worse, the download indicator is hard to view, even with a magnifying glass. It’s really a pity that no one seems to be looking after this project or trying to make a success of it.

Große Dateien (Reiseführer etc.) können im Ausland auf IOS Geräten nich heruntergeladen werden. Der Download stoppt nach kurzer Zeit und wird nicht beendet.
Gute App mit vielen Möglichkeiten
Mit der Onleihe gibt es eine super alternative zu den anderen Anbieter auf dem Markt. Das Angebot ist super und lässt sich mit dem eingebundenen Reader super lesen. Alle klassischen Funktionen eines E-Readers sind vorhanden. Was hilfreich wäre, wäre ein Bug Melder bei dem man Probleme melden kann. So gibt es leider ab und an mal Probleme beim Wechsel vom Querformat zurück. Auch wäre eine Funktion schön, wo man die gelesenen Bücher bewerten könnte. Oder hab ich Sie noch nicht gefunden? Für den Fall sollte man es dann leichter ermöglichen. Ggf lässt sich ja auch eine Funktion einbauen, wo man Titel an seine Bücherei als Wunsch übermitteln kann, damit die zur Onleihe zur Verfügung stehen. In Summe macht die App was sie soll. Die Punkte sind nur Möglichkeiten um sie zu verbessern.
