Accessibility needs to be thought of in this app
I downloaded this app to give it a try. But there are a lot of things I don’t like. I understand that apps ask to track to find out what you do and personally I think that’s an invasion of privacy. I would really like to say that I should not be pushed in to buying things from an app that is supposed to be free according to the description. That should be left up to the individual if you want to buy something or not. But then you have to subscribe to get rid of all of the ads and things why not make a version of the app that has all of those ads removed and then you can purchase it for one price. I’ve seen other apps do this. As for accessibility, it is very hard to interact with the buttons when using voiceover. I’m hoping that I can speak to a developer of this app or get a response somehow. Keep up the good work on this app but there are things that need to be improved. Trying to close all of the ads while listening to the station is also very annoying.

Been using this app for years on a daily basis, streaming all my favourite radios from all over the world. Great app!
Not reliable
Some stations are ok, then others you get commercials every 15 seconds!! ( no exaggeration)!

Dear Agilispeed, unfortunately some stations add a lot of audio ads to their broadcast and we cannot avoid this because the full control of the streaming is on the radio station's side. We suggest you to select other stations for listening since we have more than 90'000 of them and many do not have audio ads at all! We hope you'll give us more stars!
Audio stops frequently
The audio stops frequently and nobody reach’s out to fix issue seem common issue with this service. Otherwise good selection of stations.
The best radio app I’ve found so far.
This is literally the best radio app I’ve found so far. I really like the playlist feature on the radio stations. I wish more stations had that feature though. Another thing… can you make it so the last station you were listening to is not the first one that shows up, or at least make that a setting? I know some people like that feature, but I’m more of a person who likes to keep things in order, so I don’t get confused. And also, I was trying to listen to a station in Paris. But it wouldn’t let me listen to it, considering my location. I guess I failed to understand why everything has to be location based. Other than those minor things, it’s a great app. Keep up the great work.

Excellent Radio App Alternative
I discovered this app when attempting to stream US and overseas FM & AM radio stations not available on iHeart and TuneIn. iPhone user, integrates well with my trucks blue tooth and steering wheel controls. Works a-ok 99% of the time. Only 1% disappointed when the radio feed source changes URLs (unbeknownst to the general population) is when a saved station will not play (app developer will need to take time to recognize this type of kerfuffle with app usage data and update the broken or modified programming link). Other than that, I would recommend this app to any Apple or android user.

Radio Box
This is a great radio app, I can find a lot of stations that other popular radio apps don’t have. It’s awesome to be able to listen to KILO out of Colorado Springs, TAO Rock 105 out Murphysboro in Illinois again. Both awesome rock radio stations ! Thanks Radio Box !

Früher super
Früher war die App super, da ich viel US Radio höre. Seit einigen Wochen aber unterbricht alle 3-5 Minuten deutsche Werbung das Programm und läuft dann locker für 3 Minuten. So wird die Musik oder die Nachrichten immer unterbrochen und man hört nicht zu Ende.
Intrusive ads
The ads ruined the app. They are intrusive and you have to click on them to get rid of them. One ad tried to tell me my phone was virus infected and the only way to get rid of it was to download their app. I minimize the app and somehow a pop u from them appeared and wouldn’t let me do anything so I had to force shut down on my phone. Unfortunately I didn’t get the name of the company.
These apps need to do a better job on who’s advertising they accept as well as limiting their intrusiveness.

Full page car ads
The full page car ads make the app useless. You cannot x out to get back to selecting a station, you must exit the app other ads are not a problem. I have used the app for years. Maybe not anymore
Malware popup
Very disappointed to receive a popup ad that locks your screen, click on the screen takes you to a malware app. Only way out was hard reset.

Not free!
To be able to use the program ad-free you have to pay, so it is not free as advertised. A recording function is completely missing. It remains that radio stations are played. I like the program structure and the presentation as a whole worse than with other programs of this kind.

Dear Wegwende, Our app is completely free, you CAN use it without purchasing a PRO version and yes, we should add advertising there for a free version. Unfortunalely free app without monetisation cannot live. Recording function is not available because of music copyright, and actually it's illegal in the apps you found it.

Limited stations
I tried to find the CBC Ottawa station, but the app only serves up the Toronto one. I tried some other cities in other provinces of Canada, but still it was the same thing. Useless, I’m afraid.

The stream stays on and returns automatically when I interrupt it on my device. I like that a lot!! The ads are visual so if they help I’m perfectly good with them.

Whoever isn’t finding something good on Radiobox is maybe doing something wrong on their own end?
