No Landscape View
As an iPad Pro user, it’s annoying to have to take my device off its keyboard in order to read notes. This is minor, but frustrating as it’s an extremely basic feature and a paid app. I also can’t find a way to save my downloaded notes on my iPad or close out of them without closing the entire app.

Can’t open topics by clinical on app. Only basic sciences. Which I no longer need…

OME is fantastic and I love using it as a source. The iPad app, however, is not my favorite to say the least. Landscape mode please!

App is completely unusable.
Doesn’t allow google log in. No landscape mode. Don’t bother downloading the app. You have to use it on a browser.
POOR FOR IPAD
WHY IS THE APP NOT OPTIMIZED FOR IPAD???!!!!!!!!

Flash cards glitches
Couple things here:
1) app would stop randomly while reviewing flash cards maybe after 30-50 cards
2) wouldn’t be such a huge issue if we have an ability to come back where we were interrupted instead of swiping from the very beginning till card #457.

No landscape view
I love the website and all the medical content that OME has but the app itself is horrible. How is there no landscape view for an app that primarily advertises its video content. Navigating is also very difficult. Even when I logged in, it was as if it was stuck in a landscape screen but only worked in portrait. I had to guess if I was typing in the correct login info because it was off the screen.

No landscape mode = sad med student
Seriously. Like every other review said: I love OME content through my membership on the site. Got excited when I saw the app but I only wanted to use it on my iPad, which is useless if it doesn’t switch out of portrait mode. I can’t even see videos full screen. Minor tweak and we’ll be happier med students please :)

Often crashes
The idea is too shelf. The execution not so much. There’s nothing more irritating than doing flash card and having the app crash when you’re on your 200th or so. And having to speed swipe feverishly in order to pick up when you left off.
Content is awesome, but app lacks heavily for iPad users
OME in terms of its content is great! I unfortunately mainly use my iPad to do majority of the work. It would be nice to be able to use the app in landscape mode. Instead of having to go onto safari to watch the videos, do questions, flashcards, etc. Hopefully this can be added to a future update soon.

Premium member, don’t waste your time downloading this app
I’m a premium member, OME is a excellent platform with a well explained content. But this app is awful. Hope they can update this app and invest money in a better app. We as a learner and premium subscriber deserve it.
No landscape mode??
I’m sure it’s not a big a deal for a phone, but not being able to use an iPad in landscape mode is really frustrating. Also, you can’t see any of the study schedules that you make on the website, so doing things on the go is a bit difficult. Being able to download the videos is super helpful though
Video controls
You can’t easily fast forward or rewind when on iOS. You have to scrub with your finger. No double tap on the side of the video for forward/rewind.

Love the offline ability. Great company and great customer service.
Works fine on iPhone
I mainly use the app to do practice q’s and watch videos in between surgeries during my rotation. The app works fine and I think its a great resource. However, OME is overpriced. The videos are free so the only added benefit you get from membership is practice questions and flash cards. And the flash cards are terrible. Model your flashcards after USMLE Rx’s Flash facts and i guarantee your membership numbers will triple, because med students are crackheads for some good flashcards

Buggy
OME is a high standard as far as clinical education goes for medical school. The iPad app leaves a lot to be desired. The aspect ratio is off to the point where you can’t control much. The download feature doesn’t work well either
