Very nice for casual use
This app is extremely simple and easy to use. It does well what it says it does. However, I have used it for a week or two, and noticed that the video quality is not as well as the default camera app. It’s heavily compressed and you can clearly see some artifacts from the compression. That’s fine for casual use, but I would not use the app for precious moments like your baby’s first steps. The quality is not good enough for once-in-a-lifetime moments.
Update: there is a new issue after the latest update. This app now shoots only vertical videos. This may be OK for some people, but it is a deal breaker for the rest of us.

It WAS good.
This was an amazing app, but a recent update makes me abandon it and go back to my camera. Please bring back the timer. The majority of the time it does not save the videos. Disappointing because it was our go to for a long time.

Exactly what I need!
I used to always be the mom who turned the video on and filmed a bunch of wasted minutes hoping that my son or daughter would get the ball and do something awesome (so I can send to grandparents), only to be flustered that I'm filming too long and nothing has happened and just turn it off, and then to my dismay have something great happen seconds later and miss it. So lame. Thankfully that is no longer an issue with this app. It is so convenient to be able to just leave it on until that great moment happens and I know for sure it is captured. And not only that- there is no editing needed!! I also have put my phone on a tripod and just watched the game without even looking at my camera, and still could capture the moments I wanted by just pressed a button really quick when something great happened. I also have been able to capture some things I didn’t even intend to capture because I know the film is running and I want to watch it later. Like when I think a bad call was made in a sporting event (so I can review it myself later and feel vindicated) or when something funny or unusual happens that I want to watch it over. This app is just so useful and fun! I use it every time I get out my video camera these days (my kids are constantly providing great opportunities to get good footage with this app). And it all saves to the same place as other videos on my phone with no hassle. So easy to use and so perfect! Love it!!

I love this app! I use it for all my kids’ baseball, basketball, and soccer games. I get all those moments that I would’ve missed if I didn’t want to record it all the time. It’s awesome!

Love this app for my kids. We are at baseball games and sports events a lot. I can easily record their highlights! I also use it for fishing!
Great for the Grandkids
I love this app. I am always catching cute smiles and now first words with my new grandbaby! I also love using it at my granddaughters soccer games, you never know when she will score, so I always have the app recording and I get all her goals!

This is an awesome app for trick shots! Cuts down on editing time and is super simple to use! Also, they are great to talk to if you need anything!
Excellent idea and implemented well
The idea is genius and the app works like the dev says it does. It’s great for sporting events and the like. The only thing it’s really missing is the ability to use the higher settings of the video camera. Maybe it’s a storage issue with the phone continually recording, but the clips don’t seem to be saved in higher resolutions or frame rates, and I can’t seem to find a setting to change this. It’s a shame to have it work so perfectly but only spit out lower video quality clips.

Perfect!
This is perfect for teaching your kids sports! Now I can have a full slate of highlights perfectly trimmed, ready to go through with my daughter after the game. Such a time saver to not have to video the whole game and sifting through copious video clips to find those certain plays. Also saves so much memory on my phone with wasted clips. Well done!!

I’ve NEEDED this app my whole life
We use this EVERYDAY with our kids and it’s been so FUN! I highly recommend giving this app a whirl, it’s a GAME-CHANGER!

This is SO nice! All the time I’m trying to capture that one scene or moment and then it doesn’t turn out, so I have to go back out and delete it and then go back to my camera again, this way-for a only a buck-I can be filming without it saving to my device and then when that moment happens I can hit the last 15, 30 seconds and so on and now I have only the highlights I need on my phone. I thought I would use it mainly for sports but I just used it at a Halloween parade of my kids. What a simple and great tool to have, so grateful to have it and will be using it all the time now!! I also love that I can still take pictures as well from it! A REALLY cool app!!

This app is genius!
What a time saver this has been for me when I go to all my grandkids ballgames or dance recitals. With this app I’m not missing the highlights anymore and I don’t have to watch 5 or more minutes of unimportant video to see the touchdown, goal, basket, home run etc. The app works well and I give it 5 stars!

Simple and convenient
This app is so simple but I find myself using it all the time to record random things. So convenient for anyone that doesn’t enjoy going back and editing videos or doesn’t have room on there phone to record hour long clips. Download it, you won’t be disappointed!
Finally!
Finally something like this was created! Let me give you an example. Last night my sister in law and her daughter had my 6 year old boy up on their hands like a cheerleader! It was funny and my boy was giggling. I started recording with Only Highlights. As I went a long if I thought the last 15 seconds were funny, I’d press the button and only the last 15 seconds were sent to me camera roll while the app kept on recoding. Another 30 seconds was funny so I sent that over. All in all I recorded like 4 minutes of footage but only sent to my roll about 45 seconds of..... only highlights! It was awesome!

Really cool, but the orientation on iPad is screwy
Works great on my iPhone, but the iPad version crashes when on landscape orientation. Not only that, it refuses to ever record in landscape as well. And the Apple Watch functionality was a clutch thought, but that too continuously crashes.
Great concept, though, and not found anywhere else in the App Store. So thanks for that. Would love the bugs worked out, but I'll still be using it in the meantime.

Thank you for the feedback! My latest version released a few days ago should help with a lot of these issues: 1. To switch into landscape mode make sure that your orientation lock is off and open the app in the orientation that you want recorded. If you want to switch it once inside the app then click the "Stop" button at the bottom right, then change the orientation of the phone, and then click "Start". Hope that helps! That is also how you can switch into front-facing camera mode. 2. The latest release should help a lot with the watch connectivity issues you were having. Please try it out again and let me know if you are still having issues. I use the watch integration with my app on a tripod and it is a lifesaver when watching a kids baseball game. 3. It may be that this latest version addresses issues on the ipad. I haven't spent a lot of time testing that environment, but I'll try to take a look at that soon. Once again, thanks for the feedback! Let me know if you have any other thoughts or suggestions.

I love this app! I can use it to record an entire sport event and only keep the clips where my kid does something amazing! Love it!
What I’ve been waiting for
I’m sick of waiting for my kid to do something on camera only to have her do it right when I stop recording. I love that this app allows me to always be recording (but not saving it to my phone and taking up storage) and then allows me to only save the clips I want!!! Thank you!
Daughters basketball
This app has helped so much!! So nice to have the ability to save only part of what I am videoing!! I used this at both my kids basketball games and was able to keep just the Highlights that we wanted!! So glad I got this app! So easy to use and huge time saver!!
