Nice idea. Good app.
Here’s 2 suggestions:
- add the ability to re-order the task list. Currently the most recently added task goes to the top of the list. This isn’t helpful when using the app as a practice guide.
- add the ability to track how long each task is practiced. Currently the timer counts down then stops. Usually practicing tasks ends when the skills have been performed regardless of the timer. And it would be helpful to know how much time is spent on a task.

Review update

Newest edit to 4.75 stars! Thanks for adding the “+” in the top right to easily add past practice. Now only thing I could ask for at the moment is an audible alarm when using the practice timer. Thanks!

I agree that the current way to log past practice isn’t very intuitive, and it’s something I plan to improve based on your suggestion. I really appreciate your feedback and would love to hear more of your thoughts. This app started as a way to help me stay on track with my own practice, and knowing it’s been useful to a fellow music lover like you is incredibly encouraging. Tracking past practice?

Editing my review for now because used to love it, but I can’t find the feature that allows you to go back and add practice time to pieces, which was what I mostly used. For instance, if I know I practiced a Mozart sonata yesterday for an hour, I’d like to be able to easily go in and add that. The app becomes a bad tracker if you can’t go back and add. Or maybe I just can’t find it after the update? UPDATE: I found the feature again, it was just very unintuitive to press that little arrow next to “statistics” and then hit the plus. Some sort of simple button for “add past practice” would make this 5 stars again!

Great! More updates?

This is the best app I’ve found so far that very simply lets you log your practice time and lets you do it by piece or exercise. I can tell that a couple things are rough around the edges and a couple added features would be nice, but I don’t mind. Will you keep working on this app and adding updates?
