onNext 1.6.4 A launch screen that shows you the room. Opening onNext now starts with a wall of what's out there. It runs smoother on all devices, old and new, too. onDeck, rebuilt around your week. The weekly email is a proper look at what's on now. What's landing this week and what your friends are into, with every suggestion naming the service you can actually watch it on. Tap anything and you land right there in the show, movie, or book you clicked on. Where to watch, settled once. Availability is worked out in one place and read everywhere, so the popup, your calendar, the widget and your email all agree. Fewer wrong services, and a clear line between what's in cinemas and what you can start tonight. onNext speaks your region. Outside the US the app finally feels local. Homegrown titles surface properly, the services are the ones you actually have, films are in cinemas rather than theaters, and your region is picked up on arrival with a nudge in case you'd rather change it. A Spotlight that leads with now. Spotlight opens with the biggest and most current titles instead of the back catalog. Your taste still sets the order, it just stops burying a new release under something from decades ago. It tells you when the connection drops. Lose signal and the app says so rather than sitting there empty. It keeps retrying quietly and refreshes the moment you're back. Captions that know when to leave. Trailers play with captions while they're muted and drop them the second you turn the sound up. An app-wide glow up. Marking an episode watched from a notification actually sticks, and the navigation bar goes as glassy as you want it to.
