Battery killer
The app doesn’t appear under the background app refresh list in Settings, so it’s impossible to keep the app from absolutely nuking your battery 24 hours a day. This thing drains like 40% overnight just sitting there doing god knows what with it’s background processes.

Merci pour votre avis. Bonne nouvelle : cette fonctionnalité est disponible gratuitement dans notre application. Aucun abonnement requis. Si vous voyez une scène verrouillée que vous souhaitez utiliser pour le sommeil, vous pouvez acheter l’album avec un achat unique (à vie).
Great App but will make your battery hot (multiple devices)
It’s by far the best hue app in the market but the app will make your phone battery hot. I thought perhaps it was just a device whose internal consumable battery was failing, but the issue with battery getting hot occurs across multiple generations of devices. I just have to be certain that I’m not running any other apps at the time so that my phone doesn’t eventually overheat (iPhones)

Expensive but good
Most of the features require a monthly subscription. There are a few free but not worth it in my opinion. They want $4.16 cad a month. To much to change light colors

Doesn’t work well
Every time I select an effect like candle light or fire, it works fine as long as my iphone is open. But whenever the phone goes to sleep the effect stops. That is insane, what am I supposed to keep my phone open all night

No More LIFX Support?
I started using this app years ago and even had a premium subscription. I wanted to use my outdoor LIFX lights that I’ve used in the past but it seem LIFX is no longer supported.
Fraud
On the app description it says it supports LIFX light. I paid the premium in the past and it worked!!! Now they have LIFX working on their app description but on the support page it says it used to work not anymore! So where's my refund?
Where are the shows I bought?
Had a bunch of light shows unlocked that I paid for and now it is very hard to find them. Seems extremely deceptive now. Where is the owned section?

I feel like I was able to use the lights for all of my team's regular season games before and now there is support for barely any NBA games.

With over 40 hue lights in my house and yard, the Halloween scenes are pretty awesome to watch. There are also are couple of descent fireworks scenes, and then two okay lightning scenes. For the lightning scenes, they could easily improve it with more lightning more often, or even give the option to choosing how often the lightning “strikes“ (and probably do the same with some of the firework scenes). Most of the other scenes in this app is something I would probably never really use, but if you have young kids, then there are some more scenes that they may have fun with.
I have over 40 hue lights that are all over inside and outside. One thing I noticed is that as you add more lights, sometimes some of the actions/events that trigger on a single light in a scene are not as noticeable. It would be nice if you have over a certain number of hue lights, instead of only having one light doing something for a scene (e.g. illustrating a voice or police lights), it should display on to two or more lights.
Also, it would be great if this app had the option to add lights that were other bridges. I have lights on separate bridges because of hue sync bridge limitations.
So to sum this up. There are some good scenes, but there are a few things I think could be improved. It would be great if we could get some good Christmas scenes, some more firework scenes, and create an even better lightning scene that happens more often. Another scene that would be great to have is something the developers could title, “just show off!” Sometimes I want to show off all my hue lights to people who come over. I would love to have some fancy scene(s) that helps me show off even more. (anyone with a bunch of hue lights knows what I’m talking about!)

Edit: Developers fixed this issue. App works with Bridge Pro now. Still learning to use to app, but no complaints for now!
I just got my home set up with a new Hue kit, which uses a Bridge Pro rather than the original Bridge. I don’t think this app works with the new Bridge Pro.
