Nice app

While the app is satisfactory, it doesn't offer sufficient benefits to warrant the expense.

AI Coaching no chat retention

For me, the trial only lasted 5 minutes. I asked the AI if there is any chat retention. It said no, that every day you start out with a new slate. I know some people like this for privacy reasons, but I need something like Google Fitbit’s AI Health Coach for the Apple Watch. I’m a recovering heart patient and a senior. I need it to remember what I have and what heart medications I take.

UPDATE - A big thank you, Developer, for acknowledging what I previously said. Your app really would help tremendously once chat retention is programmed in.

Response from developer

Thanks for the feedback. You’re right, chat memory is currently very limited and only retains short recent context. We understand why longer-term memory is important, especially for health-related use cases, and we’re actively working on improvements in this area. – ONVY Team

Nice app

Overal a nice app but it is not helping me enoughto justify the cost.

Good stuff!

An update to my original negative review.

Apple Health provides comprehensive health and fitness information, so why use a third-party app? Essentially, we require an application that presents this data in a more digestible and actionable format. I have used all the main health apps available on the App Store, some of which are very good, but I have now settled with Onvy. I still need to be convinced that the £50 per year is a good value, unfortunately this price appears to be typical for this type of app (perhaps at the slightly higher end).

The positive aspects:
The UI design is clean and uncluttered with exceptional attention to detail. The late Steve Jobs would undoubtedly approve of the design.
Onvy presents the most important data, which I call the four pillars. Other apps are highly rated because they offer a vast amount of data, but for me this is excessive and detracts from the app’s usability. Onvy provides four areas of concern that, if maintained in the green, should ensure good overall health or at least improve your well-being.

Good data presentation is ineffective without guidance on how to act on it. Onvy addresses this with its ‘zones’, which are easy to understand and indicate where you are and where you need to be.

The negative aspects:
The price is a recurring issue.
Occasionally, the app is slow to present new data that must be uploaded to a server before being returned to the phone for review. The iPhone is capable of processing the data and presenting it immediately, with perhaps a server update that will provide the AI element.

Overall, I am very satisfied with Onvy.

It’s great!! 💯💯

I really like this app and having so much in one interface. The AI is great so far! The developers were very responsive to an inquiry.

Great fitness app!

Been using this for a while now and can’t get enough of it!

Useless

Tried to contact to stop further payments alongside complaints as k have had a couple of issues and they politely invite you to contact them with issues but I have not had one response from 4 times contacted
Also the data is dodgy - telling me I’m doing great and setting me tough goals when just out of hospital- my oura ring had it sussed and told me to rest due to serious health markers so how did ONVY miss it

I think it’s a completely fabricated app with no accuracy or accountability

Buyer beware

Took money straight away - no 7 day trial as advertised. Requested a refund.

Stars could be higher

I downloaded because it stated it integrates with whoop. I cannot find that integration anywhere.

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate your input regarding the Whoop integration. While Whoop closed their API, you can still connect with Whoop through Apple Health. We’ll double-check for misleading information.

Rubbish

Gives you barely any data for £50 per year

Really Great Health App

I really like the health summary’s that Onvy provides, not only in the mornings but also after my workouts and at the end of the day. My favorite feature is the AI coach, I think it’s extremely helpful that it provides “suggested” questions that could be follow ups to a specific question you already asked. It saves a lot of time compared to going to Google to search for all the of questions and find accurate data. It actually suggested a lot of important questions I didn’t think to even ask. Really great app overall!

Diabolical!

This app has promise, I like the layout and the metrics presented.
However, £50 for a years subscription?! You guys are having a laugh

Great

FTP threshold is mainly for cyclist. Sometime i go medium to hard on resistance training and it tells me i spent 45 mins in Zone 1.. love the layout and ai suggestions.

Amazing

If you are into fitness and wellbeing you must download this app. Super insightful.

Great app with all the fitness wearable integrations!

I’ve been looking for an app that integrates all my fitness tracker apps (eg Strava) and fitness wearables (eg Garmin, Oura, Whoop). It’s cheaper than the Whoop/Oura subscriptions and gives much better analysis. I’m loving the weekly automated reports aswell! All round smashing app.

Ex whoop user

Now using Garmin! This app works amazingly well with garmin and competes with whoop for a fraction of the price!!

great AI functionality

impressive AI functionality. love the grade of personalization

Worth it

Very interesting app, I have similar ones and I like the conversational approach of this one. I find the data reporting and analysis to be a good reflection of how I feel. Sometimes the data is a bit slow to process in the morning but I’m hopeful they will improve that in future version.

App won’t allow me to sign in

The app looks interesting but it doesn’t allow me to sign in. I’ve tried signing up with apple ID and email, and when I try to sign in simple doesn’t load anything and stays on the sign in screen.

Edit:
The first time I tried the app 3/10/2023, I couldn’t log in, so I got in contact with the developers and was able to access the app within 48 hours of writing to this review through email (despite the fact that they just answered this review today 10/31/2023). The app itself seems to sync all the data very well, however, the AI doesn’t make that many suggestions with scores it gives, maybe it needs more time to be able to generate these suggestions but in my case it just told me my scores every morning. It could also be that I didn’t use the AI in the manner that you’re supposed to. Either way, the developers are very quick at replying through email which is greatly appreciated.
