I love this app! Super easy to use and super fun to explore areas. I love that when you drop a waypoint it generates the copyable coordinates and great to have when you’re sharing your location with family and friends so they know exactly where you’re at during your hunt. Layering system is amazing! Loaded with tools and insights for each individual area.

I had a property listed wrong and they went above and beyond for me to straighten out the issue and list it correctly. Their customer service and technical support are top notch.
Great app, but excludes data from other onx apps
It feels like a bit of a scam to keep my elite membership while onx requires me to subscribe to another app for off-roading and disbursed camping and another app for fishing and another app for backcountry hiking. Some new competitors are starting to include all layers in a single app and the only reason I’m not changing over is because I don’t want to transfer my personal
data and learn a new app. I would not begin using this app today, OnX requiring 4-5 memberships to access all of their data is egregious.

Was great, not so much now
Use to love this app but now if you dont pay for the sub its not even worth having. That and the price has gone up quite a bit since first downloading the app, i dont need all these “elite” features, i just wanna be able to track my hunts and see property lines thats it, $100 a year and im only able to hunt a little bit of it because of work, just not worth it any more

Customer Service
Top Notch Customer Service! I had an issue with being logged in but my membership and pins not coming up. I sent a text to the customer service line and within 10-15 minutes had a reply and was able to figure out what was going wrong with in 20 minutes! Thank you!

I have had to call OnX Hunt, a couple of times to make changes & both times the staff was awesome & so very polite & nice & knowledgeable! Great Customer Service DOES still exist! Thank you so much… & by the way…. I love your App!!
Landscape mode
I have an iPad and I don’t understand why I can’t view the app in landscape mode? I have the trout route apps and it can be viewed in landscape. Why can’t this app?
Bad for newcomers
I got it so I could map out some lands trails. They want a full year membership fee with no trial. I don’t understand who would pay for a full year without seeing if it fits their needs

Paid for elite and none of the advertised features work for me in the app. Customer service is nonexistent since the chatbot has been unable to assist.
Edit to add I did email their customer service last week. They responded with 12 hours but have not responded again and it’s been several days.
Edit to add I’ve now tried contacting them by email 3 times, by text and by phone with no response since June 19, 2026. Customer service must be out of season at OnX.

Stay Unlost
I’ve been a subscriber for many years and have not been disappointed one time. I primarily use the app during quail and chukar hunts, but there are many other uses. The use of multi layers, the tracking feature, plus the ability to share locations changed the game for many outdoorsmen. I can only believe more is yet to come.

Maps are Old
The map is more than 4 years old. They say it refreshes 1-2 years. Info updated every couple weeks. Ap is worthless for recent property info.

Lost Functionality
Many private land owner parcels don’t have names. Which is fine normally. However, you can’t add that property to a hunt area. Which handicaps one of the best features. This is ridiculous. While onX Hunt may not know the land owner names, that doesn’t mean I am not part of a club or have that parcel leased.

Value keeps going down
With each update there is less and less information available unless you upgrade to elite. A person use to get a lot of information but it keeps getting degraded.
