I just got the app and after seeing that the only way to use the app is to give them access to so much private information. I’m not sure I want to do that.

Good morning yes I had an issue with the phone updating from my phone to my iPad. I called in and they helped me right away showed me how to do a. Hard reset, and just like that, it worked didn’t take about a few seconds.
Old info
Old Info over 3 1/2 years …I checked with County and Title Company…the property is privately owned but app has outdated information in Oregon

I hate these apps that allow you to download them and only after you enter all of your information, you find out that you have to pay for them. Deceitful!
Personable
I had the 2 states version. I had lost my card and replaced it but didn’t update my information. I couldn’t figure out how to reinstate my subscription with the veteran pricing. I called customer service and didn’t have to explain why I was calling to a computer. I got Amanda straight away and she had me set up in just a couple of minutes. It was so refreshing to speak to a real person and not have to enter numbers or try explaining why I was calling to a computer. Customer for life!

Good app for casual users but will freeze and fail when you need it the most

No matter what troubleshooting I attempt, I cannot get the app to recognize my paid subscription.

OnX Hunt had sent me an email offering to upgrade my service from premium to the elite membership at a discounted price. When I tried to enter the code, it didn’t function properly. I then called OnX and talked to Kevin. He was extremely helpful and professional, and he took care of the upgrade for me. I’m extremely pleased with the service I received from onX Hunt. Additionally, the app itself is extremely useful. It’s not only good for hunting applications but for finding property boundaries, etc. This is a great app and professionally done.

These people that work customer service at OnX are top notch. Very professional and helpful even when people are frustrated and not the nicest they remain calm and supportive helping you every step of the problem. I had a property listed wrong and they went above and beyond to make sure the changes were made and ownership listed correctly not once but twice. Kudos to them..

frustrating
Apparently anyone can call and changed property data. I have been dealing with customer support since April to get a property listed right. I have went round and round. Sent proof of ownership and tax address. Finally they change it then after very impressive review they switch it back taking it out of my name again. I will be contacting an attorney and the AG

Serious reliability concerns
The biggest reason I pay for onX elite is offline maps. Before a remote Colorado River trip, I downloaded everything.
Once I was offline, the maps were blurry and lacked the detail needed for navigation. That’s exactly when this app is suppose to shine.
If I can’t trust, it’s offline maps in the wilderness, what am I paying for?
I hope onX addresses this issue because it’s a serious reliability concern.

Best hunting app ever
The app is a game changer for hunters everything you need to be successful in one place.
Love this app!
I love this app! Super easy to use and super fun to explore areas. I love that when you drop a waypoint it generates the copyable coordinates and great to have when you’re sharing your location with family and friends so they know exactly where you’re at during your hunt. Layering system is amazing! Loaded with tools and insights for each individual area.

I had a property listed wrong and they went above and beyond for me to straighten out the issue and list it correctly. Their customer service and technical support are top notch.
Great app, but excludes data from other onx apps
It feels like a bit of a scam to keep my elite membership while onx requires me to subscribe to another app for off-roading and disbursed camping and another app for fishing and another app for backcountry hiking. Some new competitors are starting to include all layers in a single app and the only reason I’m not changing over is because I don’t want to transfer my personal
data and learn a new app. I would not begin using this app today, OnX requiring 4-5 memberships to access all of their data is egregious.

Was great, not so much now
Use to love this app but now if you dont pay for the sub its not even worth having. That and the price has gone up quite a bit since first downloading the app, i dont need all these “elite” features, i just wanna be able to track my hunts and see property lines thats it, $100 a year and im only able to hunt a little bit of it because of work, just not worth it any more
