Cute lion coach

Found this app on my tiktok fyp when I was struggling with interviewing. I hate practicing but I’ve been using this app for a bit now, went through the foundational lessons and learned how important filler words, pacing, pausing, and structure of my speech is. I’ve never tried a speaking app but the mini games were fun and I really enjoy being able to talk to my ai coach. It’s able to look through my past sessions and scores and understand my weaknesses so when I talk to the coach I’m not a total stranger, super helpful for before interviews and def not struggling as much!

Very buggy

A few bugs I’ve experienced so far:

- Buttons say “hold to speak” but are actually toggles.
- Sessions seem to hang due to server issues.
- Sometimes the close button on modals doesn’t work.
- AI practice sessions mix dialog and suggestions into the same speech bubbles

Copycat of another app

I use another app called Wellspoken, this is basically a copy cat. I was hoping they would do things different but it’s a cheap clone that crashes and got terrible feedback

Awesome app has helped me a lot

Amazing app, worth the money!!

Working on a social anxiety

Got Oompf to work on my communication skills and speaking confidence since I have social anxiety and it’s actually been super helpful. I tend to overthink conversations, lose my train of thought, and feel awkward speaking out loud, especially in high-pressure situations. Oompf gives me a way to practice conversation skills in a way that feels practical instead of intimidating

everyday convos

I’ve been wanting to improve my communication skills since starting my new job and realizing I have zero of it since in college I was still living at home and didn’t participate much in school activities. I realized how important networking is and a natural shy and introverted person the role play mode helped me think quickly on my feet and now I feel a bit more prepared going into random conversations after about 5-10min a day for the past week

An app for introvert

I have been an introvert my whole life, still am. But this app taught me how to speak up for myself. At one of my work meetings yesterday, I finally voiced out my concerns and felt heard. Def recommend to all the introverts out there. Introversion is a strength but we should learn to speak up sometimes too!

downloaded because I wanted to get better at speaking clearly and not use so many filler words. honestly one of the more useful communication apps I’ve tried. feels more like real speech practice than just generic self-help advice. been using it before work calls and also preping for interviews and feeling more articulate. Currently based in London buy applying to us based companies was looking for an app to help with public speaking and communication skills, so this has been perfect.

Love the app!

Wish I had discovered this app way earlier! Public speaking has always been my weak spot. I’d either freeze up completely or start rambling the moment I had to present anything. The daily duels have been such a fun way to get comfortable thinking on my feet, and having Leo level up with me makes practicing feel less like a chore and more like something I actually look forward to. My confidence is already in a totally different place, and I’m excited to keep growing with my little pet
