Fairly useless.
EQ is just bass and treble. Surround Sound doesn't seem to make a difference in sound. Other than adjusting the volume, that's about all this silly app does.
Oontz Angle 3 Ultra
Tried everything for over 12 hours. Did hard reboots even firmware updates. Would not connect to this app. Bummed out was looking forward to some adjustmentsš

Iāve now had these speakers for about a year. I bought them at an Estate Sale. They were a steal. They work, the play whatever my phone aims at them.
Why canāt I make them do Stereo. Why are your instructions to get the speakers into Stereo mode so terrible? Iāve tried several times to make them be something other than a single speaker. NOTHING WORKS! I have two speakers and I can only use one at a time. I canāt even get them to play in dual mode, stereo or spatial.
You guys need to get to work and m make your good speakers, great. I do not recommend your stuff. I push JBL and others. Yours, not at all. I worked in retail.

Better than a stick in the eye
I constantly have to force quit the thing and the sliders are really twitchy so itās impossible to do fine adjustments. Itās better than nothing but itās clear Oontz has no intention of continuing to support their products (4 years no updates) so when I buy more, itās going to be something else, if for no other reason than eventually this will just get delisted when theyāre too far behind in iOS versions.

Doesnāt Connect
Nice idea I guess but doesnāt find my speaker, tried suggestions from other reviews. Deleting app now.
App no longer finds my Oontz A3S
The title says it best. It used to work about 25% of the time, usually requiring multiple attempts. This ought to work, but doesnāt. Zero stars if I could from this customer.

This app hasnāt been updated in YEARS. Absolutely zero support from OontZ. I will never buy another product from them again.
Just horrible
This needs a full rewrite, and a significant user experience redesign. Honestly, had I known had bad this app was, I wouldnāt have bought the speakers.
Donāt bother
Very bare functionality for features you can use right on the speakers themselves. You have to open the nav to access each feature which is a poor user experience. Mine couldnāt even pick up the slave speaker so it was unusable so I deleted it. Useless āhomeā screen on top of everything else. Great speakers though.

Iām sure this works fine in supported devices, but how can you not even recognize older ones (even if all features might not be available)

All the links do in fact work if you āclickā on the appropriate section. I found the app to be very helpful and easy to use and had everything in it that I needed.
