User reviews

This app saved my life.

I don’t usually write reviews — ever — but I felt like I had to for this one. Because OOTD didn’t just become another social app on my phone. It literally helped me rebuild my confidence, my identity, and the way I show up every single day.

I downloaded OOTD at a time when I was honestly struggling. I had just gone through a rough semester — constant stress, burnout, feeling invisible, scrolling through social media seeing everyone else looking perfect while I barely had the energy to pick out an outfit. My self-esteem was low, and I was just going through the motions. Then one night, a friend told me about this “outfit check” app that was different — not another toxic highlight reel, but a space where people were actually celebrating real style, real creativity, and real people. So I downloaded it.

The first thing that hit me was how positive the community felt. No judgment. No pressure to be perfect. People were hyping each other up, sharing their fits, experimenting, laughing, being authentic. I remember posting my first OOTD with shaking hands — just jeans and a thrifted hoodie — and within minutes strangers were commenting kind words, complimenting my vibe, encouraging me to post again. I almost cried. It sounds small, but after months of feeling unseen, that little post meant the world.

From there, it became a daily ritual. I started laying out clothes the night before, experimenting with color again, rediscovering my own sense of style. Every post felt like another step toward confidence. I began following creators who inspired me — not influencers trying to sell something, but normal people expressing themselves through fashion. I even made a few real friends on the app, people who check in, share outfit inspo, talk about mental health, and remind each other to keep creating.

Somewhere along the way, I realized OOTD wasn’t just helping me get dressed — it was helping me feel alive again. It gave me a reason to get out of bed, get creative, and take pride in who I am. I know that sounds dramatic, but it’s true. When I scroll through my feed now, I don’t feel like I’m comparing myself to anyone. I feel like I’m part of something — a movement where authenticity actually matters.

The app design is clean and intuitive, too. Posting takes seconds. You can tag your fits, add notes, and see others’ styles evolve over time. It feels more like a visual diary than a social network. And the developers are constantly improving it — you can tell they actually care about building a healthy, inspiring space.

OOTD isn’t just an app for fashion lovers. It’s a reminder that style is about self-expression, not perfection. It’s about finding joy in the small details of everyday life — the shoes you love, the jacket that makes you feel powerful, the color combo that makes you smile.

If you’re reading this wondering whether to download it: do it. You might think it’s just another fashion app, but if you let it, it might just help you rediscover a part of yourself you didn’t even realize you’d lost.

thank you to whoever built this. seriously. you didn’t just make an app — you built a safe space, a confidence boost, and for me, a little lifeline when i needed it most.

OOTD? No, a love letter to myself

I didn’t realize how disconnected I’d become from the small joys — choosing an outfit, feeling proud of how I look, letting myself be seen. Somewhere along the way, I started hiding. But this gave me a reason to show up again. To create, to play, to remember that self-expression is something worth celebrating.

It’s strange how something so simple could reach so deep. Through colors, textures, and shared moments, I’ve found a little community that reminds me I’m not alone — that beauty isn’t about trends, it’s about honesty. I’ve learned to see myself through softer eyes, to treat my reflection with a bit more kindness.

It’s more than an app to me now. It’s a mirror that reflects not just how I look, but who I’m becoming. And I’m endlessly, quietly thankful for that.

So fun!

Honestly, i never had a place to share my outfits. Instagram felt too personal, and no one even uses snapchat anymore. With collaborative groups that I can post to, it jut feels right. Also having the leaderboard is a fun and engaging way to keep sharing!
