# WHAT'S NEW IN OOURGLASS v1.3 OOURGLASS has been substantially rebuilt. This release introduces a new portal architecture, breath and sequence builders, a new session player, synchronized breath timing, membership improvements, and the earned practice ladder. ## I. PORTAL NAVIGATION — A NEW WAY IN * A browsing surface that travels by scroll: breath, sequence, five portals, explore * Ships inside the app and runs offline * A bridge between the web surface and the native session ## II. BREATH BUILDER * Set the inhale, hold, exhale, and hold * A gray-noise sweep follows the configuration for audible cueing * Save a custom breath as a preset ## III. SEQUENCE BUILDER * Pin a breath at the valley and another at the peak * Connect them with linear or curved geometries * Save a custom sequence as a preset ## IV. OPEN PORTAL — NEW SESSION PLAYER * Twelve timescapes end to end, from 12 to 144 minutes, with a tuned chime at every seam * Manifest countdown, session, then a cumulative record * Three sound options: the timescape, music from another app, or silence — the breath layer survives all three * The chime is a generated tingsha at 528 Hz; seams climb a semitone going in, and the opening countdown ladders them back down * Every timescape schedules its layers from its mix weights on each session, so no two playbacks are alike ## V. SYNCHRONIZED CLOCK * The visual breathing figure and audible breath are computed from the same start timestamp * They cannot drift apart — not after an hour, not after a phone call ## VI. MEMBERSHIP * One subscription: OOURGLASS Complete, $8/month, seven days free * Entitlement is now read live from Apple on every check rather than from a local cache * Cancellations, expiries, and refunds land immediately * Restore Purchases reports what actually happened: restored, nothing to restore, or why it failed ## VII. THE EARNED LADDER * The four portals unlock at 100, 200, 300, and 400 completed sessions * Lengths of 24, 36, and 48 minutes unlock at 20, 40, and 60 practiced hours + 60 minutes and beyond remains with membership ## VIII. ADDITIONAL * New app icon, with dark and tinted variants * Type system rebuilt from the mark down, with the app speaking in lowercase throughout * New legal sheet that is readable and whose every link resolves * Explore and all 200+ timescapes remain unchanged
