Open Channel Analysis plus

App allows for a quick analysis of various open channel configurations in either english or metric units. A flow can be entered or calulated using the built in flow estimator. Flows can be calculated using the rational method with supplied intensities for Florida, Texas and NOAA data. Intensity can also be entered manually to compute runoff rates. Flows also can be computed using the Santa Barbara or SCS Unit hydrographic methods. Various channel configurations can be selected and analyzed for normal depth and critical depth. Backwater computations can also be performed for a specified distance along the channel given a starting depth. The backwater profile is computed using the direct step methodology for profile computations. All hydraulic calculations are based on the manning's equations.
