Does not work
An utterly disappointing waste of money. This is either an outright sham, or the developer has a pretty broad definition of what constitutes opening links in Apple Maps. If you search for an address in Google, and tap the “Maps” tab, it gives you the option to launch Google maps… you tap ok, and it launches Google maps.
With absolutely no info on how this extension works, I’d assume that it ought to either use a url rewrite to hook Apple Maps from the link, or swap the app on launch, but it does neither.
I’m really not happy about this at all.
Maybe it used to work and has been broken by an update, but that is immaterial. It doesn’t work, it’s not worth $2.
I have just paid to achieve nothing. It really does irk me.
