Scam

It did not work at all in my phone. When I search for a movie, it just spat out a picture. There was nothing to even click on, nothing to download. Just a picture and text that you could not interact with.

No update in 2 yrs. so no hope of fixing. Wish I knew how to refund.

Hopeless

This app loads and plays subtitles from a database. The running time is shown against a slider that can be altered during playback.

The slider is small and doesn’t allow for fine tuning. The timer doesn’t run in real time and the subtitles speed through much faster than the film, moving often 3-5 seconds each second.

There is no fine tuning to match the subtitles with the speech. There is no +/- to fine tune the running speed.

The subtitle text is small and there is no option to use the app in landscape mode. The ‘read out’ function works but won’t switch off.

This app should not be in the App Store.

Rubbish!!!!

It does not even have subtitles!!

A piece of junk

It doesn't display the subtitles. The page freezes a lot. Not even worth a dollar!

Love this

English is not my first language, but I don't like disturbing my friends when watching a movie together by asking for subtitles, this app let's me follow the script from my phone discreetly

bad so bad

its worst app that i have ever seen

Download Error

The app just keeps saying "download error" when I select my chosen subtitles. I can download subs for another film but then they're displayed black on white which would be unusable in a cinema. The interface looks like it was thrown together in a couple of minutes. There's a kernel of a good idea here but it's just not been well executed.

Lacks the many languages on the site

Why not include additional languages?

HORRIBLE

Please don't bother buying this app, it's a waste of time and money. It's like the worst ever!!!

Pretty terrible

This app is a real disappointment. Because I am deaf I rely on open source subtitles to be able to understand visual media and after my previous subtitle app stopped working I bought this one, it is barely functional, the text is out of sync with the sound (not necessarily the fault of the app, but with the original open subtitles file, of course) but there is NO way to easily pause, rewind or otherwise adjust the location of the subtitle track. Definitely not worth the cost. Very disappointed.
