I’ve actually made money
I’ve tried multiple NIL marketplace apps but this is the only one I’ve actually made money from. They reached out about being part of a campaign and I was paid when I did my social post. There are also opportunities you can apply for.
Best NIL support I’ve received
I’ve tried a few different marketplaces, but the support I get from Opendorse has been above and beyond. They’ve been great in helping me build my profile to attract different brands and have been great communicators through the different deals I’ve done from start to finish. They are quick to respond and always helpful.

The app is very easy to navigate. They have a lot of resources to help you learn how to grow your brand.
Solid app for NIL
I initially signed up for Opendorse through a partnership they had with my school. I’ve gotten a handful of brand deals through them, but most of my collective payments came through Opendorse since the collective also used their platform. Overall, applying for opportunities and cashing out is pretty easy, and they send a 1099 at the end of the year which is nice so I don’t have to hunt anyone down for taxes. I personally prefer the desktop version a little more than the mobile app, but overall it’s the most complete NIL platform compared to some of the other marketplaces out there.

The best NIL App
I’m on all the NIL apps and none compare to OpenDorse. It’s not always huge dollars but for good brands and actual cash deals, this is the best one. You can get product too like the other apps do, but OpenDorse is the best overall by far. Check it out!

Stay Away!!
This app is not user-friendly whatsoever. Oftentimes, it will just randomly glitch out and quit. It’s supposed to make brand deals easy, and it serves the complete opposite purpose. If you want to make money, I urge you to AVOID Opendorse at all costs!! Launchpoint is a WAY better option.

Let’s be honest about OpenDorse
Opendorse is all about overpromising and under delivering. This app fits right in with their company. They say 100,000 athletes make money from this app and I know about 3 that have ever actually done a deal on here. The user experience is very poor and athletes are just not making money. They talk a big game, but in reality they’re only helping the top athletes. I think it’s important to be honest and say this app just is not good right now.
