I used to be able to open music in YouTube, Apple Music or Spotify.
I don’t know why this feature was removed but I haven’t had the need to use Opener ever since.

Thanks for creating such an amazing app. I use it regularly to navigate between apple - Google - Waze maps.
I noticed recently after iOS 26.5 update that opening from Apple Maps now includes irrelevant actions such as stream media in infuse or in opplayer light. And no options to open in Google or Waze maps. Please help resolve this 🙏

Very handy, but has some limitations
Opener is very handy in how it lets you easily open links in specific apps that support them, but it has a couple annoying weak points.
The first being the some of the suggestions are outdated while some newer and better options aren’t included.
The second is that if you use more than one app for a specific kind of link, you need to scroll through the whole list of associated apps. There’s no way to remove the options you don’t have installed.
It would be nice to be able to remove the ones that aren’t useful to me or at least favorite the ones I actually use.

I don’t know what I would do without this app. The native iOS system for opening links is so bizarre - it’s always a guessing game how a link will open by default and what other options will be available. Often the most obvious and useful options are simply not available, and as far as I have been able to figure out there’s no real way to customize the options. Opener is a true lifesaver.

Lots of missing apps, and support just ghosts you
There are LOTS of missing apps. I spent time to give precise examples of links but dev just ignored me. I tried to contact him on different channels and he just ignored me, he doesn’t care. Additionally there is no proper Safari extension to automatically show a popup to open links in an app. You have to manually share the link with the app. Don’t waste your time and use the other app with the same name on the App Store, it has that feature and more.

Give users an option to disable unhelpful suggestions
Suggestions for apps I don’t have or want constantly get in the way, especially the ones that are abandoned and defunct. Nobody should be using them let alone recommending them. It makes Opener look bad.
Great app but most recent update makes it crash!
As of February 4th, 2026, the most recent update is crashing constantly when I’m on iOS 18.2.1. I’m not sure if this is OS-specific or the app update is corrupted. Hopefully, you can fix this soon! When you do, I’ll rate you 5 stars.
Finally, I can open links correctly
Absolutely worth it and best $2 I’ve ever spent. Opener has fixed the frustrations I’ve had for years when trying to open shared links in their respective apps. The app fixes one of my biggest issues where Apple thinks it’s best to open a shared link (instagram, Reddit, and TikTok for me mostly) in a browser (which breaks things) or the link just directs to the App Store because the phone doesn’t know what to do with it.
Now when someone texts me an instagram link it ACTUALLY opens in instagram so I can enjoy what was shared with me instead of getting stuck in the “open in the instagram app to see more” loop.

Used to be perfect
No more open links in Google Maps. This is the primary reason most people get this app. Without this feature 30% of its value is gone.

this app has probably been on my iphone for at least 5 years and it's always one of the first apps i recommend when someone asks me for recommendations. a great little tool for opening links in various apps!

I use this app all the time.
For example I want to force a webpage to open in safari instead of opening in the app or the opposite way, I am in YouTube for example in safari and want that video to open in the app I just tap the share arrow under the video and then select opener, then select to open in the YouTube app. When I got this app I wasn’t sure I would need it but actually I use it everyday. Thanks for this handy app 😎✌🏻
