Thank you for your feedback and for taking the time to read the privacy policy. I completely understand how important privacy and transparency are, and I really appreciate you pointing this out. I want to acknowledge that the policy you saw was too broad because it tried to cover all versions of OpenHabitTracker, including the website and an optional Google Drive backup feature that has since been removed. I hadn’t updated the policy to reflect that, and I see how that could be confusing. If I ever bring back Google Drive or similar optional backups, I’ll make sure the policy is updated right away. I’ve now updated the privacy policy to clearly separate the different cases - website, PWA, desktop, mobile, and self-hosted versions - and explicitly state that no personal data, usage data, telemetry, or crash reports are collected in any version.
