The app is very well-designed! I do think we need an open online space that is just for people in the industry and isn’t hosted on social media. I’m hopeful that more people will join but it seems like the creators are off to a great start.

I cannot recommend OpenMic enough as a networking tool for anyone with a remotely music-adjacent career. Very smart interface, unbelievably easy profile setup, great functionality all around.
Perfect app for diving back into music
Love this app! I’m living in a big city and getting back into playing music after a years long hiatus, and it’s really nice to have an app centered around connecting artists and creating community!
great for finding community
i’ve been on OpenMic for a few months now and I’ve been enjoying the sense of community I’ve gotten on the app. Being a musician can feel isolating at times, but OpenMic is a nice reminder that there are so many talented humans out there who want to collab on projects with you.

Wish I had this when I first moved to LA !
