OpenPDF Editor is a local-first PDF editor for iPhone and iPad.
Open PDFs from Files, create blank PDFs, search selectable text, add text notes and highlights, draw with Apple Pencil, sign documents, organize pages, print, and export clean copies through the iOS share sheet.
Your documents stay on your device unless you choose to share or export them. OpenPDF Editor uses native Apple PDFKit and PencilKit, with no account required.

OpenPDF Editor also includes a visibly marked Edit Text Beta. Select text on a page, type a replacement, and the edit is layered over the original so it shows in any PDF viewer and survives export. Selections it cannot safely edit are refused instead of risking unwanted PDF changes.

Introducing Fill & Sign — complete and sign PDFs the easy way. - Tap the new Fill & Sign tool, then tap any blank line or field to add Text, a Date, your Signature, or Initials right where you need them. - Blank underline fields are detected automatically, so your entry snaps neatly into place. - Typing now stays visible above the keyboard instead of being hidden behind it. - Entries land exactly where you tap, at a readable size. - Sign by drawing or typing — your signature drops into the tapped spot. - Press and hold any entry to nudge it into position.
