Clean but issues with some buttons
Really simple and clean app. Just having an issue with some of the buttons such hamburger icon for the settings doesn’t work a lot of the time. Also the same thing for daily if you tap a day and try to click the hamburger icon to bring it back to how it was, it doesn’t work as it should

Pretty good overalll
Can’t argue with the price, and it does do a good job. I work outdoors, and compare a few of the apps, this one often matches the real weather quite closely. For sure it’s a little sparse on the data available, but then it’d probably need subscription fees to improve that, but it shows enough, so that’s OK.
Two constructive criticisms: it could do with saved location improvements. It really needs landscape mode - especially on an iPad.
It’s certainly worth a download, and installing on a phone. I run it alongside the standard Weather app, which gives me good enough forecasts for my needs.
One final suggestion, if it’s doable, would be to have it link to the Apple Watch.
Overall though, it’s very good.

ich finde die App sehr gut und, obwohl nur auf englisch, leicht verständlich und sehr informativ. Zudem sind die Vorhersagen sehr zuverlässig und genauer, als von anderen Apps.
Aber: wie werde ich diese überflüssige Chat-Funktion wieder los? Das Teil brauche ich nicht, es stört und ist im Weg.
Bitte schnellstmöglich eine Abschaltmöglichkeit einrichten.

„KI“ endlich abschaltbar
Trotzdem fragt man sich, wer auf die „großartige“ Idee gekommen ist, in eine Wetter App eine „KI“-Chat-Funktion einzubauen. Zumal dieser Chat so gut wie nichts konnte. Aber selbst wenn - so etwas ist einfach völlig unnötig! Ansonsten war die App bis jetzt eigentlich gut und zuverlässig.

No opt-out for pointless AI assistant
Why was this added? Why wasn’t it announced? Why can’t it be disabled entirely?
Use to love this app
Really disappointed that they added AI in a recent update. Will be looking for an AI free weather app if I can find one if not it’s back to looking out the window as my weather service

The app is simple and not filled with bloat but has a ai assistant you can not get rid of taking up space in the bottom right corner and lacks radar but other than that it is great.
Unnecessary AI chat
I’ve been using this app since 2022. I chose it for its minimalist interface and because it doesn’t automatically try to refresh when you don’t have internet access. I was really disappointed when I opened it today and found an AI chat feature that cannot be removed. Why would I want to chat about weather in an app I chose for simplicity? I’ll be uninstalling it and looking for something else. 😞

Why does this app need an AI assistant that permanently visible overlayed on the bottom right corner of the app? OMG. let me get rid of it. How amazingly useless that feature is.

i like this weather app because its free and the interface is amazing and also theres api key so i can make it use the data from this app and show it in a terminal

Great replacement for Dark Sky
The OpenWeather website has a radar though... if the OpenWeather app had a radar, then this would be the perfect minimalist weather program.

It’s Free
Open Weather is a pretty bare bones weather app. It seems to be accurate. It doesn’t seem like the developers are putting a lot of work into Open Weather judging by the change log. Updates are infrequent and the app lacks radar. I don’t know if it actually does notifications or not yet. It is free but so is Apple Weather. One review said that Open Weather was the new Dark Sky. That would be cool if true.

Weiterentwicklung fehlt
Ich mag die App. Sie einfach und macht ziemlich genaue Vorhersagen. Also das was ich von einer Wetter App erwartet.
Den 5 Sterne Beitrag gibt es wenn die App nachgefragte Features wie Landscape Mode nach liefert.

Years ago I reported that the app doesn't support landscape-mode! Still the same issue. Frustrating!
