And when I tried to use my remaining funds, it turned out they'd already removed their equipment from most restaurants before their official shutdown date, so it was impossible to spend the money remaining in my account. They claim they're going to relaunch on a larger scale, but if they do I certainly won't be trusting them with my money again, and you shouldn't either.

Good idea but a failure business practice
OPER is a third-party payment processing company that was based in St. Louis, MO. While the idea is great, the business model itself just could not thrive in this co petite market. I have been using oper for a while until couple days back, I was told by several local merchants who claimed that they have never received any reimbursement from OPER for months. As such reason, I will encourage to stay from the app/service until things get figured out. I tried to reach out the company by email, Facebook message and the phone a couple days back and have never heard back from them. Just be aware. I’m sure it’s a scam when they keep receiving money from the customers and not reimbursing the merchants. Be very aware!!!

Location, location, No location
Wasted time as this doesn't specify where they are only available at. My location is 700 miles from the closest restaurant. Not helpful.

App started out fine but now they are doing push notifications daily and are sending spam emails too frequently.

Always thought the app was kinda cool but the new pay at the table feature is amazing. Got the check, punched in the total and tip on my phone and was done. This is a game changer.
Crazy cool
When I first downloaded this I thought it was too good to be true, save me 5% at restaurants without any charge to me. It makes ordering super convenient and I've already saved a ton of money because of the 5% back. Totally legit and nothing better out there for ordering food in St. Louis.

5% rewards??? Unheard of
I'm so glad OPER launched in STL. I don't have a credit card so don't get rewards. With OPER I've been getting 5% back on all my meals. Also the issue with a lot of food apps is that they don't have many partnering restaurants. Looks like OPER is doing a good job with getting most restaurants on board.

No Brainer Download
A friend of mine showed me OPER a couple months ago and I cannot recommend it highly enough. If you’re going to go out to eat anyway, why not get money back while doing it? It’s super simple to use and there are a lot of restaurants to choose from- giving one plenty of choices and options. I’ve been able to rack up enough cash back in rewards to use at my favorite hot spots by simply using the app when I decide to go out to eat. No brainer, take advantage of this free app and reap the rewards.

Great for ordering
Love being able to order ahead my lunch before I get to the restaurant. When I get there the food is ready and already paid for.
