Can’t even play
Every time I go to play the game it says a connection error has occurred and it has done it with both my phone and iPad and I’m not understanding why, I used to have this game on my phone before and it never had this issue.

I was able too play the game for a little bit but when I exited the app and then tried opening it back up there was a loading screen and I couldn’t open it back up!

Purely okay at best.
I, of course, need to put aside my nostalgia for the original operate now games when I write this, but this game is purely okay. I feel like it misses the mark on what made the original games so enjoyable in the first place; free, fun, and actually educational. It seems like the new dev team wanted to put an unusual focus on drama and management, instead of the gameplay itself, which does make the game drag pretty bad. And of course, like most mobile F2P games, it’s extremely pay to win. After every operation, there’s an ad, and a popup comes up after EVERY AD asking you to buy something in the shop to remove ads. The gameplay, when it’s actually the focus, is pretty enjoyable, albeit ridiculously easy and short lived. I like the updated graphics, though sometimes they bug out while I try to cut or use the forceps. All in all, it’s an alright game. There are things I wish were better and more like the original series, but it’s not THAT big of a deal unless you’ve played the originals like I have. If this is your first introduction to the operate now series, then I’m sure you won’t hate this game. A solid 4/10 for me.
