the connectivity just works and does nothing more than working. i mean it connects but it’s very stuttery and low-res so it’s impossible to capitalize on the 4k camera it offers. speaking of the camera, there’s no way to control the gimbal. idk why because it’s obvious to me that the gimbal does have motors in it to move the camera around so i’m not sure what that’s about. other than the stuttery connection and lack of camera control everything else is fine.

Does not connect with my phone and if it does then it will take control of the drone and fly away from me. So don’t get upset about it if you’re not happy with it .
Unable to log in
How is someone supposed to use the app and unlock the drone from beginner mode if you can’t log in?

Lost connection on the second flight and flew directly into my neighbors tree. He calls the cops and now I have a lawsuit on my hands. Wonderfull!

I’ve been trying to get this stupid app to allow me to log in for a while because THAT IS THE ONLY WAY TO BE ABLE TO FLY YOUR DRONE FARTHER AWAY AND IT JUST WONT WORK.

I just purchased the HS720g and I am so impressed with the quality of the drone and this app- I’m not really phone savvy, but this app was a breeze to use.! Definitely recommend!!

Recent app update
Recent app update prevents me from changing settings during a flight. This is a major inconvenience as i would like to be able to alter flight settings without landing the drone.

Poor functionality
First off the app is not very user friendly. Secondly, I don’t know if this is a function of the app or the drone. If you take off with good GPS and signal goes weak in flight it will change home to where it got a good signal again. THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPEN, IS DANGEROUS, MAY CAUSE DESTRUCTION OF DRONE OR BODILY HARM TO SOMEONE.

Good but could be better
I like the drone, but the maps doesn’t work to show visual representation. Also, it would be nice to update the app to have active track, and gimbal speed settings as the gimbal is very laggy. Also more smart flying features would be a nice update, for e.g dronie. The drone doesn’t seem to rotate on its axis once it hits the geo-fence. A grid line up date for the horizon would be a nice update for the camera app. Please please please listen to your customers. This could easily be a better competitor to dji drones with these simple software updates.

App is easy to navigate
Seems easy to navigate and use. Not much actual use at this point to be able to comment on the stability of the app or the consistency of the connection.
Recording videos
I am having trouble recording video. Sometimes the video records to my phone other times it does not. This is slightly annoying because some events I’ve missed out due to not knowing why, it appears to be recording video each time. Is there a special trick to saving the video to my phone that I need to be aware of?

Is there an alternative?
This app is the worst user interface ever. Many places you go, there is no way to go back to the home page. I cannot delete the videos from the phone and it’s eating up space. Have to delete the entire app and data, then reinstall. I really like the drone, but this app is just horrible.
HS720G and Ophelia Fly
I bought the HS720G back at the beginning of August and have been very pleased with it. I believe that HolyStone have a real winner with this drone and I’m hoping they continue to improve and add to the app.
It would be nice if it was possible to update the software on the drone via the app so that data like height, distance and speed could be recorded continuously on the drones micro SD card videos so that they would show up in playback.

Doesn’t work for HS720G
I bought HS720G Oct 21,22 this app worked, a few days later it stopped working, will not connect to phone, I contacted HS, they said it’s being updated but have no idea when it will be completed, so may have to return drone to Amazonz
1st Use
Only 2 speeds on this drone; Tripod & Race modes. No seeming way to trim it either. Trying to find features is difficult as manual is deficient in information.
The camera might be 4K but the quality isn’t.
It is however a better drone that the ones I have.
Battery gave 22’7” which isn’t too bad at all
