Needs better interface
Very cumbersome, and needs better user interface. Needs update.
Incomplete
Does not include Tapentadol or many other opioids. Only dosing options are q6h, q8h and w24h.
It works
This app appears to work well. You can choose from 2 different calculation algorithms with lettered abbreviations, but there is no explanation how to choose. prn doses require a frequency input before allowing you to enter the actual number of doses given and this is unnecessary. Looks good though and appears to work.

Pretty good opioid calculator
When I upgraded my iPhone to iOS 8, I lost the ability to use my original opioid calculator app, the opioid. This is a fairly suitable replacement, and it works well with good stability on my iPhone 5S running iOS 8. The only suggestion I would have is that it is cumbersome to enter in numerical quantities for milligrams received using "rollers" instead of a keypad.

I use it everyday working in pain management! The only improvements you could make is add Nucynta and a two a day dose for Fentanyl Patch!!
Allows conversion for patients on multiple meds
Allows for the entry of multiple opioids that can merge into a single conversion recommendation. Well annotated. Other apps I have used required the use of scratch paper to write down intermediate results. Not this one! Thanks for making conversions for my patients faster and safer.

Great opioid conversion app
I'm an anaesthetist (anesthesiologist). This is my favorite opioid conversion app. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that there a few opioids and/or routes of delivery that could be added to make it a truly superb app. Well done.
Good tool
Quick and accurate. Use this every day in our busy palliative med consult service. Tracks well with manual conversion charts from other sites. NEVER any problems. Can we see IV fentanyl in the next update please?

This is a great app for good equianalgesia calculations - used as a validation of your own calculations helps reduce errors - the "extra" considerations are also very helpful when you are in the fray of someone's pain dilemma - recommend future addition of non-pharmacological and adjuvant Rx 'considerations'
