Couldn’t find my 105
Bought a used BDP-103 with no remote
I connected the oppo to my network via ethernet. This app worked perfectly during setup. I updated the firmware to the oppo and set up my input preferences. I’ve been using the app for about two weeks without any issues.
I can’t compare it with the oe physical remote, but I can’t imagine that the physical remote has any advantages over the app.
My only concern is that oppo is no longer in the universal player business. I hope this app remains available indefinitely!

Does not work.
I updated the firmware as instructed, but it can’t find my DBP-105 either automatically or manually. Boo.
DOES NOT WORK!!!
I guess now that OPPO has stopped making players not supporting them is next. This app will not connect to 203 player. Informs me that players firmware is out of date.
Failed to connect three times.
Oppo UDP 203 has current firmware per player setup. iPhone app doesn’t find player and when entering IP address, app says firmware is not up to date and returns to search screen. Deleted app and reinstalled 3 times.
Thanks for adding 64-bit support
Now I can continue to use this app in iOS 11.
Need Updating for iOS 11
I lost use of this app after upgrading to iOS 11 as its not compiled as a 64-bit app.

The only other review reports connection issues... I had no problem connecting.

Don't waste your time
Purchased -95 unit about5 years ago after rave reviews, in the last 3 years this unit has sat next to my vcr and has gotten as much use. I had constant freezing and buggy remote issues, no firmware help either. Figured this app would with remote issues...nope it's the crappy unit. You don't need the app because you shouldn't buy an Oppo. Save your $$ and get a cheaper model with good reviews, lesson learned.

The app developers added standby network enable so now I can use the remote app exclusively. I had docked them previously because I had to use the remote that came with the system to turn the player on before being able to use the app.

Needs some more work
This unit needs some work on the CEC control, I have noticed that the TV will turn on when I turn on my oppo player, but when I turn the oppo player off, the TV goes back to free to air. I would like it if when I turned the oppo player off, my TV turned off as well.
Noticed that this device cannot seem to pickup on my smb movie server, yet seems to see a range of other devices on my network, please fix in next firmware update.
Had the app crash more than once when trying to connect to the oppo player. Seemed to have sorted some of this issue out by turning off power saving mode, so the player still pings on the network.

Needs keyboard support to be perfect
Excellent overall user interface! It only needs touch keyboard support to complete the experience.
Bugs with network search
The old remote worked great I could sit in bed and look through my computer network so I could stream stuff. Now the network search just freezes up the whole player!! I wish apple or oppo would allow me to downgrade to the old app which worked great. I updated the firmware on the player as well.
Doesn't work
Won't connect with BDP-93 although it finds it correctly. Useless.
A company with 5 star support
I was jazzed to see oppo had an app, but bummed out I had the older bpd 95. It's an amazing sounding CD player. Then, I now find they have support for my last gen gear! Thanks Oppo! Not only is your gear great but you take care of customers.
It might have a bug still but I only just got a cheap display and had one hang on pandora. After reboot it works fine.
