App doesn’t always work and their lights are very finicky. Their customer service is nonexistent and they don’t respond to messages. Avoid this company

i bought underglow lights and the lights won’t even allow me to connect to my phone.

im sick of this app honestly i paid alot of money to never see this updated when so many have said something

Absolutely horrible changing sequences. Horrible connectivity as far as multiple units. The cooor change door assist does work and is the ONLY function that is worth it. I’m goons use their LED bar on ALOT better driver. Horrible. Oh and as for the image of their store in the app I’ve never seen it.

This app is missing a bunch of features!
Some important features that are needed:
• scenes: choose what colors to cycle through, in what order, speed of the cycle, transition type selection, etc.
• automatically connect to LED control box
• color wheel or square (or some way to adjust saturation)
• brightness should be available in every mode!
Some features I would like:
• remove the intro / app opening
• have different themes (I would like a more simple design)
The OPT7 Glow app seems to have a lot of what we need. The Govee app is also pretty good. Please consider it, many people are having similar issues with the app, the products are great but the app needs a refresh!

This app needs a color wheel!
The interface is not the best. The app needs a color wheel or some way to adjust contrast.
The govee app was pretty good, they have so many great options that I'm missing on the OPT7 app, such as the ability to store lots of presets and fade between selected colors, the interface was way more intuitive, similar to the iPhone, and it gave you visual feedback when selecting or holding a selection, on this app I can't tell if it registered me holding the preset icon.
The OPT7 lights are the best I've tried, but the app is lacking significantly.

Device
Unable to rename the device. The keyboard on my iPhone gets in the way of clicking on the OK button.
App needs features like the remote
The app is cool and all but the remote has better features. You’d think for the amount that you pay for a Bluetooth app that it’d have the same features as a remote does. Needs an update ASAP.
App is not working correctly
Only can use blue light or white light if i choose any other color they all 4 change to different colors all 4 lights will only be the same colors if i use only blue or white how do i fix this
BUG FIX
Everyone with complaints of app not working. On the Bluetooth receiver DO NOT plug in the tiny red wire and only ground the black wire. I had all the same issues until I removed that red wire and BAM THE APP WORKED FLAWLESS.
Doesn’t work
I connected it to the app but the lights dont turn on or off when i unplug them they turn on but the app doesn’t do anything then I turn it off and they dont turn back on

Fade Mode
If the app had a real fade mode, these would be 5/5
Unsatisfied customer
Installed my lights just to find that the app isn’t connecting to my Bluetooth so now I have to buy a remote when I bought the Bluetooth features.
Update app or replacement
App worked fine for a month and then all of a sudden stopped. The led lights does wirk and the app picks up the device but I am unable to turn on the lights with the app. The lights randomly come on and I am able to turn them off using the app but again, it doesn’t turn on when using app.

I love the lights and they look amazing but the app is trash. For the pricing I feel like the app could be better and have better features
Can’t use the voice function
Love the lights and the app. Lights were easy to install easy instructions everybody loves them but the voice function isn’t working anymore can you guys tell me why?
Love them
I have had my wheel well lights on for a year and love them. I wired them up so that anytime the ignition is on the light automatically turns up to white. But today I tried to use the app and it will not load.
Just terrible
The connectors for the rock lights are so flimsy they do not seal properly, they will turn on and off on their own, and one day they turned off and would not/have not came back on, the app itself is poorly configured, HIGHLY disappointing for the price.
