Love it!
I love this app! It’s not only a handy tool but a fantastic visual aid for explaining those more complicated optical principles. My only issue is that I can’t seem to be able to enter minus power prescriptions only plus. So that does limit somewhat it’s usefulness
Best Cheater App for Optical Calculation
I technically know the math required to do these optical calculations, but this app makes it easy to just get the info at the end so you can move on with your life.
If you're in school please just learn how to do this math with pen, paper, and a calculator youll be a much better optician for it. In the real world situations where you just want to know the answer this app is indispensable.
Plus, Brent McCardle is a pretty cool guy and knows his stuff. After I learned that he created this app I was that much more grateful for his small gift to opticians everywhere.

Big mistake It doesn't work
If I could, I would rate this app no stars. I keep getting error messages when I try to use the App. The app designer said he knows it doesn't work and a new update is almost finished, but I still haven't seen one. I'm trying to get a refund.
Wonderful!
As a Optical Mgr and dual licensed optician I use this often. Its a wonderful optical tool for any optician. Thank you so so much and if you are considering buying this.... Do it! You will love it also.
Wow...where have u been :-)
Love it...
So helpful
I've been searching the app store for a few days looking for an app that made "finding the power @90 & 180" easy. Since I'm a Licenses Optician / Lab Manager, it's great to have a tool like this at my fingertips for a very very busy lab ! I will be telling my optical peers about this ! My only change would be , is to actually add the ability to touch a + or - sign when entering a script vs. tap or double tapping.
Thanks!

Lab Managers Friend
This application was brought to my attention at an annual continuing education hours meeting for Licensed Dispensing Opticians. After hearing about it's usefulness I downloaded it immediately. This application is a must have for any Lab Manager providing 1 Hr or same day processing. Using it is very simple and fast. The optical formulas would also be very valuable for apprentice opticians and any other associates starting in the field of optics. I was also impressed with the response time of the application developer. I had a question and after sending an email he responded the same day in just a few hours.

Gr8 app!
:)
Nice app
This app makes smart phones work smart. Needs to be in every lab managers pocket.
The app that every optician needs!
Just like the name and description implies, this is an optical tool that would be valuable for any optician to have on hand at any given time. Very accurate, relevant, and useful if you are a modern working optician and/or if you are a student just starting to learn the formulas and ANSI standards.
