Why have an Apple mobile app that DOES NOT SUPPORT APPLE IOS?
Functional platform w/ superior execution.
First and foremost, the OTG mobile platform uses optimus trading group as its IB and rithmic for data execution. Optimus is known for it's competent and professional team of account and support personnel. Matt Z (the big man in charge at Optimus) makes himself available to any questions or feedback and is very helpful in getting everything going. Rithmic is in the top of its field for low latency data execution. I've found that the mobile application is sufficiently inline with the quote refresh rates and execution that one would typically see on a desktop. There have been some kinks in the refresh rate of open positions, but the team at Optimus has already taken the initiative to get it fixed.
The platform itself is totally customizable and has the ability to see price ladders, options, and a chart visual. The technical analysis aspect of the charting is left out, but not many ppl are looking for an oversold RSI when stepping up to the first tee or chowing down a dog at an afternoon ball game.
The value in the OTG mobile platform is that it represents a synthesis of reliable data/execution, a functional interface, and a superior support group at Optimus. It's the perfect addition for anyone interested in being in the markets without being tied down to the desk.
