About
OptiPro Measure uses the TrueDepth front-facing depth camera on your iPhone to measure all facial optical parameters required for fitting glasses directly on your device. It provides optometry centers, eyewear e-commerce platforms, and individual users with data approaching medical prescription accuracy.
【Measurement Metrics】
• Binocular pupillary distance (PD) for distance / near vision
• Monocular PD for left and right eyes (based on the facial midline determined by the nasal root and tip)
• Segment height (simulated frame, supports custom frame B, A, and DBL parameters)
• Vertex distance (from corneal apex to the back surface of the lens)
• Pantoscopic tilt and face form angle
• Nasal root width, nasal bridge height, and nasal root drop (for nose pad selection)
• Real-frame measurement: Wear real frames to automatically detect the rim contour, read frame A, B, and DBL, and replace segment height, vertex distance, pantoscopic tilt, and face form angle with real measured values
【Industrial-Grade Correction Mechanism】
• Gaze locking: Tracks gaze vectors; rejects capture if the gaze deviates from the camera by more than 2°, eliminating artificially small PDs caused by "looking at the screen"
• Device posture calibration: Gyroscope level + crosshairs; prevents starting if pitch/roll exceeds 1.5°
• Distance locking: Real-time depth ranging locks into the 30–40 cm golden measurement zone
• Multi-frame fusion: Continuously captures 15–30 frames within 2 seconds, removes blinking and jitter frames, and calculates a weighted average, reporting the repeatability standard deviation for each metric
• Medical rigor mode: Uses a standard bank card (ISO 7810, 85.60 × 53.98 mm) for secondary absolute size verification
• Dual-method cross-validation: Independently estimates and compares PD using the center of rotation method and the pupil convergence compensation method
【Smart Interpretation】
On devices supporting Apple Intelligence, a plain-language report interpretation and three frame selection suggestions can be generated locally on the device, entirely offline.
【Reports & Export】
• Each metric includes a diagram, professional explanation, common range, and lens processing tips
• Export PDF reports (including a pupil cross-mark verification image for optometrist review) and JSON data packages for easy integration with lens processing and ERP systems
• History records are saved locally and can be deleted at any time
【Privacy】
All depth data and 3D facial meshes are processed locally on the device and destroyed immediately. No 3D biometric data is uploaded or stored; only the calculated numerical metrics and a 2D verification image are retained.
【Device Requirements】
Requires an iPhone or iPad Pro equipped with Face ID (TrueDepth front camera).
Disclaimer: This app does not provide medical diagnosis. Segment height is a simulated value based on virtual frame parameters. For final eyewear data, please rely on an in-person review by a professional optometrist.
