I’m already understanding my partner better through this app. The conversation prompts go deeper than advice on what to do with your money based on xyz - the prompts help me dig deeper to the emotional and psychological aspects of money, helping me understand our relationship with money in a more holistic way. Huge plus that we can connect our spending accounts and track our goals in an easy and practical way. Highly recommend

Easy, no-nonsense, fool-proof
managing money and being financially literate does not come naturally to me. my wife handles all of our finances and I appreciate it 100%, but i’ve always felt a sense of unease around not knowing what’s going on with our money. not because i don’t trust her, but because i just don’t understand what to do with the money. we also come from quite different family upbringings, so how we see and handle money can differ sometimes. I usually don’t rate things, but opto has been so helpful in terms of building context into both of our relationships with money + how to meet each other where we’re at. it’s basically counseling + money coaching. i feel this app is integral towards understanding money as a couple alongside any banking, investment app etc.

Opto makes money convos easier
It can be tough to talk about money in relationships, but this app makes those conversations feel much more low-pressure and intentional. I love how deeply it dives into topics like our childhood experiences with money, helping uncover why we think the way we do and where certain spending habits may come from. Opto has made it much easier to have meaningful conversations about money with my wife. The AI feels a lot like a facilitator and helps surface insights btwn us without being pushy. It’s helped us better understand each other’s habits, upbringings, and decisions in a way that actually feels like we have an actual coach. Definitely try it out
