OpTracker Mobile

OpTracker is a smartphone application that works with the web application OpTrack for cable installation and cable inventory management. This app provides the ability to scan the length information printed on the cable to determine the length used in the installation. The app automatically uploads scanned data to the OpTrack system's database, allowing operators using the OpTrack system to view cable installation operations and cable inventory lengths. At start, users must log into the app using the username and password provided by the OpTrack administrator of your organization. When starting the cable installation, tap the light blue box labeled "Installation." Next, center the 2D code with the cable ID printed on it within the camera view window. When the app recognizes that a scannable code is in the window, it automatically starts scanning the code and retrieves the cable ID and the current cable length information. Scan the codes at both the start and end points of the cable installation. You can also use the app for rewinding cable work. If you want to use this app for cable rewinding work, tap on the green box labeled "Rewinding". The usage is the same as for cable installation work.
