About

Chess has evolved. Welcome to Orbital Chess. In Orbital Chess, the board is alive. Every few turns, a powerful orbital shift rotates key pieces to new positions around the board — like celestial bodies caught in a gravitational pull. One moment you're pressing an attack; the next, your pieces have spiraled to entirely new squares. The Orbit Changes Everything This isn't just chess with a twist — it's a fundamentally new way to think about the game. The orbital mechanic forces you to plan not just for where pieces are, but where they'll be after the next shift. Anticipate the rotation, and you'll set devastating traps. Ignore it, and watch your strategy unravel. Master the Rotation Orbital shifts move key pieces to new positions every few turns Static pawns hold their ground — and can block orbital paths, redirecting pieces to the next available square Use the orbit to reposition for attack, or let it scatter your opponent's defense The shift is predictable — the strategy is not Features: Play against AI across multiple difficulty levels Local multiplayer on one device Clean, intuitive board with orbital path previews Color-coded orbit indicators show exactly where each piece will land Rules popup with a "Don't show again" option for returning players Think in orbits. Play in dimensions chess never had.
