It never sent me a code via text to verify my account so I couldn’t use it at all.
Lag/Reload App
The app consistently lags or doesn’t show the page that I’m tapping on. “Back” button doesn’t work at all! Payment goes through my bank, but the app is stating error and asking me to pay again. Now I have to call the restaurant and verify my purchase. Please fix this app!!

TERRIBLE APP
This app is terrible! No type of convenience in any way shape or form!! I ordered food from the app and got crap, I reached out via email about my bad experience with inedible food and was given nothing in return but attitude and bad grammar! They invalidated my experience with their bad food, quality, and customer service! Don't waste your money here, There are plenty of other apps that offer better and much more (DoorDash, Uber Eats, GrubHub, etc.) RUNNN!!!!!!

If I could rate you lower, I would
Worst service ever. You have no concept of whether the restaurant you’re attached to is closed or not, you don’t have a way to cancel an order, or get a refund immediately. You have no way to verify if the order went through. I am now currently waiting on refund of my most recent order to a restaurant that was closed.

$4 item turns into a $15 total charge , incredible
It’s obvious that none of the delivery services are a good deal, but order eats is truly a scam. You are charged taxes 3 separate times. There’s sales tax, services fee which has an insane 10% fee tacked on due to the restaurant not subscribing to order eats , services tax, then the delivery charge, and finally you guessed it a tax on top of the delivery charge. These outlandish fees can triple the price of a simple order. An absolute scam of an app. If anyone cared enough there’s probably room for a lawsuit with this practice.

Misleading and Disappointing
I tried this app after hearing about it at a local holiday event where it was a sponsor. The restaurant was advertised on the app as “Free Delivery” then I was charged over $7 for a service fee and $4 for delivery.
There’s no way to let the restaurant know you need anything special with your order, I.e. extra sauce or salad dressing. When I say there’s no way I mean even calling them to ask doesn’t work because even though the app says your order is ready for pickup, they won’t even show your order in their system. I got a text from someone named Trent telling me how busy the restaurant was. I texted him back asking about extra sauce and was told, “Sure I will make sure driver gets it” only for that to be as false as their “free delivery.”
When the food finally arrived, the driver (who wasn’t the person that had texted me) just set the food on the ground and was taking off.
I never received any email order confirmation or receipt for my purchase despite selecting the option to be emailed a receipt several times. Maybe they’ll get their act together eventually but I probably won’t know about it as I’ve already deleted the app after a single use.

I tried to support local services, but my last order was just that. My last.
No food delivery app is consistent 100% of the time. I understand that. But no food delivery app should be inconsistent 100% of the time. And that’s pretty much what I was experiencing. In the early days of this app order accuracy was on point. The ball has definitely been dropped on making sure an order is correct before it's delivered.
Price never bothered me until accuracy became an issue. I didn’t mind paying for convenience. But I essentially found myself paying extra fees and taxes for incorrect or missing food. The fees and taxes are not refunded. Just the price of the food. That becomes costly to the consumer.
Processing a refund has become a nightmare. It requires emailing customer service and waiting for a reply. Then your are left wondering whether the refund was processed or not. This last refund took me over 3 weeks to receive. The reply I repeatedly got was “I’ll check on that for you”. That’s when I decided I was done with this app.
All in all, the service is convenient, but very, very inconsistent. Until order accuracy is vastly improved and refund processes are simplified, I’ll go back to DoorDash and Waitr.

App is terrible
The app crashes every second, and there is no notes option on the items. The app UI is very poor and lacking a lot of features. The app could be a lot better.
Good app for delivery. Other than that, it’s not good.
It’s a good app for delivery but it has a poor design and needs a comments on the order for the restaurant. It needs a better design that doesn’t look like it’s created in 2010.

Used to be my favorite but there were a few times our orders were not right and when we reached, it was requested that WE take it up with the restaurants and just felt like we were brushed off. I’m annoyed by this because I order a lot and most are not small orders. I don’t like the fact of paying a service fee for something I have to do myself. So we’re deleting the app.

Good but you pay for convenience
Like the app but the fees are high. $28 worth of food ended up being $45 after tip and fees.
App and customer service are terrible
App constantly says there is an update but nothing to update. Also placed an order that was late and when I called the restaurant they had no order on file. Emailed customer service then my order was delivered and the driver hit my tree. Have not heard back. All around terrible experience. Will not use again and will not recommend!

Won’t work
The app says it needs an update and won’t let me use it but when I go to the App Store to update the app it says it is up to date.
Not useable
Never can use the app. Tells me to update but there isn’t an update available.
Professional & Lower Fees
Enjoyed using this app. Very easy to navigate. Food prices were not inflated and I knew exactly what I was paying for delivery service. The driver was professional and on time. Love having my favorite foods delivered.
Suggestions
Some menus aren’t complete, so it would be nice to have the ability to write a comment on your order to clarify with any special requests (I.e. chicken instead of pork for tamales). It would also be nice to be able to send a message to the restaurant asking them about certain menu items not available on the app (I.e. the dessert menu). Otherwise, I love how this gives us access to local restaurants especially during these uncertain times. We can get the food we love without having to leave the house for a reasonable price.

Delicious Delivery Options
Very pleased with the order options and service. Driver was professional and courteous! Delivery time was quick in relation to the order time. Will definitely recommend to friends to give OrderEats a try!
