Fix the app

Please fix the issue where we have to pay for this app twice.

Do not purchase unless you want to pay twice.

Paulist Press should be ashamed of themselves. I like the others purchased the app, only to receive a message that it was a trial and would expire after 30 days. $17 plus stolen. Yes, stolen. I now have to purchase again if I want the app. But I went be doing so. Why give money to an unethical company that won’t fix the problem.

Double payment for Ordo 2025

Same issue as Pater, few days after purchase, notice started appearing that trial order will end in a few days. After last day of so called trial period. App notice said have to purchase to continue using. Had to do it due to need hoping app store detects the problem.
This resulted in double payment. Still looking for ways to recover $17.

Restore purchase doesn’t work

I already paid and the trial period ended and the application no longer lets me see the content. The restore purchase option does not work.

Paid for the app but claims only trial period

I paid for the app November 30, and today it says they hope I enjoyed the trial period not you have to pay.
First time
This has even happened. I hope this gets fixed promptly.

Unresolved

I have for many years used the app and have found it very useful, but I also have encountered significant bad issues. After having said Paulist Press has resolved the issue of asking for a double payment, I find that is false. I am also locked out of the app after paying for it and telling me I am in a trial period. Once that trial period was over I was locked out and I am currently prevented from viewing what I paid for. They have my money and have locked me out of using what I payed for. This is enough to cause me to do future business with this company.

Buggy

This is a very helpful app, and I be use it daily for liturgy preparation. I paid for the app, but it doesn't recognize that I paid for it is telling me I need to pay again. The customer support page isn't very helpful, either.

Won't restore purchase

It will not allow me past the free trial even though I have paid. And the restore purchases option does not work. I'm not sure what to do.

helpful general app; I still miss the local version

After they fixed the error, I’m now able to make use of this general Ordo. I wish that they would make available the particular local versions as they did years ago.

Response from developer

There was an error in the app construct asking for payment to download, which should be free, with the content being charged for at the user's choice during the 14-day trial. That error has been corrected and the initial download is now at no cost. We apologize for this inconvenience. In order to correct the overcharge, please see refund procedure details at the Ordo App FAQ page on the PaulistPress.com website.

Basically the website refers me to ask for a refund from Apple, instead of you making the refund, which means the problem in the app was never really corrected, just redirect the issue by asking us to request a refund from Apple. Not quite nice of you. BTW.

Missing info, double payment

Ordo gives the basics needed but not everything is as advertised.

Beyond the double payments, things mentioned and in print edition are not included. E.g. directives are not in the app. The day will tell you the directive 9 applies but no where can you find the directive.

Necrology is not included.

Monthly papal intention isn’t in every month. E.g. missing for Dec 2024.

Need to fix an error

I just bought the app for $17.99 and got confirmation that I paid. But the app itself is saying that I need to pay $17.99 as if I am still using the trial edition.
