About
Most to-do apps let you write anything down, then quietly punish you for it — a flat list where a dentist appointment and "buy socks" carry the same weight.
Ordo is a voice to-do list built on triage. Say a task, swipe it into Now, Soon or Later, and see your whole day as one shape. Nothing pretends to be equally urgent.
SPEAK IT
The capture screen is one big microphone. Tap it, say the thing, stop talking — Ordo notices the pause and closes the recording itself. Rings around the mic move with your actual voice, so you can see it hearing you. If speaking isn't an option, one tap on Type swaps the mic for a text panel. Tap Add and the mic opens again for the next task, so a brain-dump is speak, add, speak.
34 LANGUAGES, YOUR CHOICE
Ordo dictates in every language Apple's speech recognition offers on iPhone — 34 languages and more than 60 regional variants, from Danish and Thai to Brazilian Portuguese and Cantonese. The dictation language is its own setting, separate from your phone's language, so you can capture a task in your mother tongue on an English phone. Languages your iPhone can recognize offline are marked "Works offline", and with "Use Apple's servers when needed" off (the default) dictation in them stays on the device. The rest go through Apple's speech service, so they only work once you switch it on and have a connection. Ordo's interface is in English, French and German.
THEN SWIPE IT
Each task becomes a bubble in the middle of a triangle. Drag it toward a corner and that corner charges up — color floods the glass, a stamp lands, and the bubble pops into a spray of droplets. Up is Now, down-right is Soon, down-left is Later: red, amber and green in the standard palette. A flick counts as much as a full drag.
SEE THE WHOLE LOAD
The board fills a triangle in proportion to what's in each lane, so the balance of your day is one glance, not a scroll. A top-heavy triangle means too much is red — which usually means it wasn't really triaged. Cards age visibly: leave something long enough and its edge starts to smolder.
REMINDERS THAT BEHAVE
Give a task on the board a time and Ordo reminds you. Red tasks arrive as time-sensitive alerts, so they can break through a Focus. Permission is only asked the first time you actually set a reminder — never on launch.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account. No analytics. No trackers. No third-party SDKs. Ordo has no server of its own — your tasks live in a single file on your iPhone, and Ordo never uploads them. Your voice stays on the device unless you switch on Apple's servers for dictation, and Ordo never saves your audio.
ORDO PRO
Ordo is free to download, and the free version is a whole app: voice and text capture, all three lanes, reminders and the board. The free board holds 6 live tasks at a time.
Ordo Pro lifts the cap and adds:
• Unlimited tasks
• Repeating tasks — daily, weekdays, weekly or monthly
• Pulse — 14 days of cleared tasks, plus typical time in each lane
• Three more signal palettes: Ember, Arctic and Vapour
