Can improve a lot
Some things don’t work well like going up and down the maqam - which should really work given the purpose of the app. Please add a feature to read things in English for non Arabic speakers, and a tempo setting in the rhythm section. Also, information about the structure of the maqam like which notes are important for the feeling of the maqam

Doesn't work
There is no functionality under iOS 7 for this app. It only crashes when I click any button.
Only ajnas,from 3-5.
Where are the Maqams? I can only find Ajnas and not even all of them,only the sets from 5-3,can't scroll up to 1 and 2.
This is a shame since it seems like a great app but I can't access everything in Ajnas and I can't scroll up to the Maqams even though I bought it

Good pocket reference
A good quick reference for learning structure and pitch in mid-eastern music. Will require a fundamental understanding of the music to make since, but is still good for beginners. My only real issue is that occasionally only Arabic is shown with no English translation, but it does not really affect the usability of the app.
