What's New in Orlando Explorer Mobile
10.0.0
July 15, 2026
A major update with a completely redesigned Library experience, improved navigation, and over 90 bug fixes. New Library Experience • Folder-based Library - Your manuals are now organized in a folder and subfolder structure, matching the Web platform. Navigate through folders with an intuitive tree view. • Independent Viewer tabs - Opening a manual no longer changes the Library context. Manuals open in their own tabs, so your Library view stays exactly where you left it. • Download from Library - Download individual manuals or entire folders directly from the Library tree. Track download and install progress on each folder and manual. • Download status indicators - Easily identify whether a download is in progress, paused, failed, or completed, directly from the Library tree. Search Improvements • Library search - Search across your entire Library for manuals and folders by name. • Current manual first - When searching from a viewer tab, results from the manual you're currently reading appear at the top. • Search context awareness - When filters or applicability change during a search, a banner invites you to relaunch the search - no more stale results. Bookmarks • Bookmark order preserved - Bookmark folder ordering is now correctly synchronized across devices. Filters • Unified filter dialog and filter chips - All filters (applicability, manual tags, module tags, publication status) are grouped in a single dialog. Active filters appear as chips below the toolbar. Tap the "X" to remove a filter, or tap the chip to adjust its value. • Filters inherited by new tabs - When you apply filters in the Library, all subsequently opened tabs inherit them. Already-opened tabs remain unchanged. • Auto-expand single business - If only one business is available in the applicability filter, it expands automatically. EFB Mode • Forced filters - In EFB mode, applicability, live, and mandatory filters are locked and clearly indicated with a padlock icon. iPhone & iOS Compatibility • iPhone responsiveness - Improved layout and usability on 6.27" iPhone screens. • Message readability on iPhone - Message text now displays at the correct size on iPhone in full view. Viewer & Navigation • Side-by-side improvements - Long-press a link to open it side-by-side. Close a side-by-side tab quickly with a dedicated button. • Optimized vertical spacing - More screen space is dedicated to document content, especially in landscape mode. • Lighter Table of Contents - The TOC design has been streamlined for better readability and easier navigation. • Restore library filters on restart - The app restores Library filters when relaunched. BUG FIXES Library & Downloads • Fixed incorrect publication counters on the Home and Library screens. Search • Search keyword highlights are now correctly cleared when the search is dismissed. Bookmarks & Notes • Notes and highlights availability has been restored and made more reliable. Applicability & Filters • Fixed an issue where filters applied on the first split-view tab were incorrectly applied to the second tab. Display & Localization • SVG images in dark mode now display with inverted colors in full screen. • Settings toggle values are now displayed in the correct order.
