About
OrluniaCard HandFoundry is a collection of three card games built on a single 52-card deck, tied together by one idea: every pile you complete is read as a poker hand. A pair is worth something. A flush is worth a great deal more. That rule turns all three games into the same quiet question — take the easy points now, or hold out for the hand that scores.
Everything runs on your device. No account, no sign-in, no connection, no adverts and nothing to buy.
Feature:
• Three distinct games — Anvil Gate, Ember Chain and Hammer Grid
• One shared scoring system, from High Card all the way to a Royal Flush
• Rework: take back up to three moves in any round
• A best score kept for each game, and a Mastery rank that climbs from Apprentice to Grandmaster
• History of your recent rounds, with the hands you built in each
• Sound effects, with a single switch to turn them off
• A fully illustrated deck, laid out for landscape play
• Works completely offline. No account, no adverts, no purchases, and the app asks for no permissions at all
How to play:
Anvil Gate — Seven columns, two side gates and a draw pile feed four anvils. An anvil accepts any available card that shares a suit, shares a rank, or sits one rank away from its top card. Five cards seal it, and those five score as a poker hand. Seal all four for the completion bonus.
Ember Chain — Six columns sit above a single ember pile. Play a card one rank above or below the top card; king wraps round to ace. Cards played back to back form a chain, and when the chain breaks the best five cards inside it score. A chain that climbs steadily makes a straight; one that rocks back and forth makes a full house.
Hammer Grid — Ten cards lie on the plate. Take two, three or four of the same rank, or any five that make Two Pair or better, and forge them away. Quick pairs keep fresh cards coming, but holding out for five of a suit scores far more.
Benefits:
Rounds are short enough for a queue or a coffee, and deep enough to be worth replaying. Nothing is left to the shuffle alone — every round gives you a real decision between the safe score and the better one, and your best results are kept so there is always a number to beat.
Because it never goes online, it behaves the same on a plane, on the underground or with everything switched off. There is no timer hurrying you, no advert interrupting you, and nothing of real-world value to win or lose. Just a deck, a board, and a better hand than last time.
