KEEP YOUR PLACE IN THE QUR'AN The reader now remembers the exact verse you were on and opens there next time, so returning to a study no longer means scrolling to find where you stopped. "Continue reading" names the verse it will take you to and shows how far through the surah that is. BOOKMARKS Press and hold any verse to mark it. Bookmarked verses carry a gold ribbon and are gathered in one list, and they stay exactly where you left them however far you read on. Press and hold also lets you copy a verse with its translation and reference. MOVING AROUND Jump straight to any verse, not only to any surah. A verse counter and a progress line show where you are in a long surah, and the reader now opens full screen. CORRECTIONS • The Bismillah appeared twice at the head of almost every surah. It now appears once, set above the text the way a printed Mushaf sets it. • Its meaning is shown in the translation you have chosen, rather than always in English. • All six translations can now be selected. The last of them, Pashto, was being cut off the bottom of the list and could not be reached. • The Qur'an font size setting now changes the page, as it always should have. • Changing your translation in Settings now reaches a surah you already have open. • Surah names and meanings no longer run off the edge of the row on smaller screens. The Arabic is Tanzil Uthmani, checked verse by verse against the source for this release — all 6,236 of them.
