Not the best game 👎

At first I thought the game would be really fun but I can’t even play. The app is super buggy and annoying. When it asks me to put down the tiles it doesn’t even recognize them and freezes for a few seconds then still asks me to put down the tiles. I haven’t even gotten past the first level. This Osmo game is the most annoying and most glitchy game I’ve ever played from them. Please fix it so I can hopefully play it without any errors.

Doesn’t work

This app doesn’t work

I spent my money once and I have to do it aging

I just bought the word tiles for my kid and I was so happy she would be able to play all your games. But when I go to the app once we download it it’s says I have to pay another 10 dollars like I payed for the tiles now this.Just why ?

This is rubbish

I wanted to play this game and have a bit of fun but when i loaded it i had to delete it because i couldn't get in without having to pay

Won’t read letter tiles

So frustrating, as we really wanted to play it!

Awful

Considering this is a separate app that must be purchased this is awful. It does not recognize letters when playing. Other apps work fine this one is garbage. Very disappointed.

Restore Purchases

Asking me to restore what I have already bought.... but it doesn’t find the fact already paid!!!! Not that great a game... but kid wants to play.

Can not restore!

I purchased this app many months ago and now my daughter wants to play it again but the app can not restore purchase. And want us to buy it again!

To easy

One thing to fix is the words because the words are way to easy

Purshused, stopped working, wants me to pay again.

Bought this app in a bundle with Numbers Toybox over a year ago and all was well, we are coming back to Osmo after a break and neither app works. It’s asking to be repay $13.99 a piece to redownload them! I have tried a restore and it will not pick them up, I want the apps working again as I already paid for them and have proof such interaction. Contacted apple was told to talk to developer directly.

adult words

contain words of adult orientations

Clunky, poor quality. Not worth the $$$

Not up to osmo standards. Way to expensive. Boring repetitive gameplay. What is this and how did they release this? OSMO... Maybe focus on adding extra levels to the games you already have like Words rather than half efforts such as this.

Not for Kindergarten

This game is listed for Kinder and up and unless your child can read already this game is useless. The game would be better if it recited letters and said the words after they are spelled. Unless you can sit by your child and help them, they won’t learn anything other than matching letter tiles to the screen.

Thanks for your feedback. We recommend starting with a 3 day trial to make sure that Words Explorers is the right game for your child. There's no commitment, and we don't automatically charge you at the end of the trial. Thank you, Osmo Customer Experience Team

It’s ok

I have not played this game yet but it looks good and because I have Osmo I can. Play it and I have the words for it so hope me luck😬🤞🏻🙏🏻

Amazing

I’m a big Osmo fan and this game is so cute and amazing.😍

Where is 3 day trial?

Having purchased almost all of the Osmo products, I was excited to see that there were other apps we could use the tiles with. But it costs another $14.95 when I have already bought so much! It says there should be a 3 day free trial, which I would love to do to see if my kids love it, as I had just spent the $14.95 on the extra “arcade” number game, which I am not sure my kids will completely utilise just yet, although it was novel for them for a few rounds.. if I end up getting all these “arcade” games it will be an additional $45, can’t we just get a bonus for already purchasing the other things? Or bring back the trial so we can see if it works for our family or not?

Needs to say letter sounds

I was excited to get this game to help my preschooler with letter recognition as advertised, but it just help with matching the letter to the one on the screen.
I would love to see it say the letter name when placed on the board, and then say the letter sounds and read the word together once it is complete.
The monster part should be able to say the word as well.

One major error.

One major error, that I am hoping can be fixed in an update. At this point the the child is asked to spell a word but it is not read to them if needed or if they successfully built the word. This means that a child can be adept at finding the letters but not know how to read the words. Thus the game becomes one of letter recognition not reading/spelling.

The same is true when they must fight the monsters. They need to have the ability to tap the letter for sounds, so they can see if the letters will make a word and have the word read to them if they are successful. This could be an option that can be turned off for more advanced students.

I bought the two games combo and found them to be an odd combo to put together. The math game is appropriate for preschool and beginning kindergarten and the the reading game is more appropriate for end of first or second grade. Neither work well in my end of the year kindergarten class. I am disappointed that I spent $15 for the two games but I was so excited to see they were coming out with new games that use tiles that I already have.

Please work on an update to add a read to option to the words. It would make this game exceptional as a reading center option in the classroom.

Not what I expected

I got this for my younger kids (aged 3 and 4) because it says it does letter recognition. However all they are doing is matching the letter on the screen. It doesn’t even say the letter name or sound. And the Letter i on the screen doesn’t even look like the i on the tile which made it extra confusing!
I don’t know that my 7 year old would even be able to do the building a word part either.
